I could just joint the fitness part of it independently... they do have really state of the art work out equiptment and such. And then I could have a coach to assist me in achiving my goal of getting stronger and more flexible and work on balance. I will have to decide on this.. it would run me about $150.00 a month at least.. insurance may or may not pay some of the physical therapy. Will have to check into that. It is paid just month to month so if I did not feel it was working for me I could quit with no investment.
For me, $150 for the fitness part that includes a trainer could be money well spent. It's great that it's month to month so you could quit if it didn't meet your expectations. If it were me, I would investigate further and seriously consider. How many days per week? How often would you meet with the coach?

I thought about you yesterday & wondering how you were doing!
I guess most of these programs have to relate to everyone, the most common denominator but for some, hearing the same info over & over is what they need. And it's so sad to hear so many people don't have any idea how to eat for wellness.
Would the coaching be part of the monthly fee? I like the 'physical therapy' idea of fitness. The older we get, balance is so important.
At at the very least, it's gotten you excited!
Fun to shake it up from time to time!

I've actually been looking to do something like this. Can't afford it but love the idea of it.

@sidsmom @nomless yes, I think I need some shaking up... the past three years I have been pretty reclusive since not working anymore... It may be good for me to have some designated place to go and be around other like minded people. Lola my Golden Retriever is a good friend.. but, sometimes I feel like she just loves me for the belly rubs ![]()

Good Luck! I support you. Having a set program to follow can be great motivation. IMO: Health pursuits are very worthwhile. I'd rather see someone spend money on a program that can better their life, instead of a new TV!

I think it's an excellent idea to get involved in a wellness program like that. It sounds like you might put together your own. Have you thought of joining a nice gym and getting some personal training there? For $500, I'd think you could get quite a bit. Many health insurance plans pay toward gym fees. Mine reimburses you after you pay for something like six months' worth. I checked on it years ago.
The nutrition coaching also sounded good. Some gyms offer that too.

I like the sound of the physical therapy part, assuming it is customized for your specific needs. It sounds similar to what I was doing a while back at the gym.
