Setting Your Privacy Settings

The Privacy settings in your account are automatically set as a default that no one can see your private information. You do not have to change this setting as nobody can see your email address except you. See below;

The third option down is the setting; Show Online Status. It is set to let anyone know when you are online. Your Avatar photo will be visible so other posters know you are online. If you do not wish for this to show, you can change that setting to No one in Preferences under Privacy and your avatar photo will not show when you are logged in. Make sure to click SAVE.
