Re: What's the consensus on Wen?

I tried it a few times, using various "flavors" and actually lost LESS hair when using it. I don't care for it for other reasons so don't try it anymore.

Re: What's the consensus on Wen?

I experienced hair loss, resulting in an incredibly clogged drain. It took so long to rinse out, and I did not feel that my hair was clean.

I am a 10-ish year WEN user, my hair is fuller, stronger, shiner than

ever.

Thanks for asking.

10+ year exclusive WEN user here. No hair loss, no clogged drains. Just full and shiny hair with my natural highlights showing through.😀

Re: What's the consensus on Wen?

I have not experienced any hair loss since I started with Wen when Chad started with Wen.

I also found I do not have to wash my hair as often and I do not have to use that much product when styling my hair.

I would def recommend Wen to anyone.  I have also spied a Wen bottle or two at a station at the high-end hair studio I use.

Re: What's the consensus on Wen?

I never lost hair but after years of trying different versions, I gave up.  My hair always looked frazzled.

My hair has never looked better.  Even though I didn't have curly hair, I started the curly girl method and found the different shampoos that work, and it has truly changed my hair. I am just so sorry I didn't do it before. I'm also just so sorry it took me so long to drop WEN.

  @spent2much

I've used WEN exclusively since 2014 without any hair loss or sensitivity issues.

In fact I'd already lost more than 1/3rd of my hair due to serious extended illness, and once my health was stabilized WEN helped me grow my hair back thicker, stronger, longer, and much healthier than ever before.

Re: What's the consensus on Wen?

Ladies, I appreciate all your input.  The truth is I've been using Wen exclusively for many, many months.  I only have to wash my hair once a week now, whereas I used to have to wash it 3 or 4 times per week.  AND the condition of my hair is great!

Here's the problem:  I've been losing hair, where I never did in the past (before using Wen).  Now... I'm 73 so it *could* be that I'm just losing hair as I get older.  But I'm just not sure.  Consequently, I think I'm going to HAVE to stop using Wen for a while - maybe several months - in order to know whether or not the it's the Wen that is causing hair loss.

I hate giving it up, but I think I better... in order to determine the cause of my hair loss. I'll begin with using Beekman pure goat milk shampoo and conditioner. Thanks, again, for all your responses.

   Good luck!

I'm post-menopausal, and have both cancer and thyroid issues. That's the trifecta of causes for hair loss. But I lose less hair during a wash now than ever before.

My daily chemo (in pill form) makes my eyebrows fall out, but not my head hair. Lol!
