I just sent that notification out at 1:18pm ET. Did you receive it?

Hi @beach-mom. Hopefully you received your alert. It turned out that I hadn't sent you an alert at that time because you are listed at the end of the Wen Notification Alerts List with the other hyphenated names. 

It would be a good idea for your to modify your name to by changing the hyphen to an underscore (i.e. beach_mom) or better yet modifying it so that it is one word.

Hyphenated names cause glitches to QVC's system that cannot be fixed. See more information below. 

If you do modify your name, then please let me know so that I can add your modified name to the main list.

SENDING NOTIFICATIONS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE HYPHENATED NAMES

Adding the folks who have hyphens in their names is problematic (though an underscore is fine), because the computer system doesn't always process your notifications. -- In other words, Wen-Style won't consistently generate a notification, but Wen_Style (or WenStyle) will process the notification.

What seems to happen is that sometimes the part of the name after the hyphen doesn't get highlighted (i.e. it remains black as opposed to becoming a light blue "hot" link), so the notification isn't sent to your name.

You may want to read through this Moderator question - problem w/ Notification names thread and then email QVC about getting your notification name modified.

I'd recommend that you modify your names by adding an underscore between the first and second words of your name. In otherwords, change Wen-Style to Wen_Style (or WenStyle). Another example of this would be Wen-4ever to Wen_4ever (or Wen4ever).

The way your names are currently set up, it's very difficult to get your notifications out (cutting & pasting your notification names does not work). 

If you modify your name, please let me know by adding a message to this thread. That way I can add your new name to the Wen Notification Alerts List. Thanks!!
