@ANewHue Thank you for your condolences. ![]()
Meeting up would be fun, right? I could Periscope your whole appointment! Then the camera would stay on you and not roam all over the salon. ![]()

@World Traveler , I am so sorry and will say a prayer for both of you.

@ANewHue I have told my sister many times that we need to go to a Canyon Ranch type of thing....either a week or maybe two. There are so many around the United States.
I drove by the Golden Door when I lived in Escondido, California. It was quite deluxe. Not sure if it is still in business as a spa, but in the 60's it was THE place for celebrities to go. Must be pretty pricey by now.

@lrmuffin Thank you so much. She was quite a lady. Always dressed nice, was kind, and really funny without trying to be. We called her our Gracie Allen (of Burns and Allen comedy fame). She would say things she didn't know were funny; they just came out of her mouth. ha!

World Traveler, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother! Even though she lived a full, long life, I know you were still not ready to say goodbye. We are never, ever ready.
I hope you enjoy your trip to Eastern Europe, and if you meet Count Dracula, say "Hello" from me, LOL!

@CamilleP Thank you so much for your wonderful thoughts. Yes, you are correct, we are never ready to say goodbye to our parents, particularly our mother.
In the past few years when I called to see how her day was going, she would frequently start out with something like: "When I woke up this morning I was surprised I was still here." ha! She kept thinking at her age she should be dying and was surprised when she didn't.
She did have a fellow in the assisted living place who kept wanting her to marry him. And she would say: "I guess I still have it!" LOL!
Yes, my sister and I will miss her and her sense of humor. And I can't think of a single person who did not like her. She always took good care of herself, ate well, and had a compassionate heart.
As to your comment about Count Dracula, I am so eager to see the castle. I love going thru castles anyway, but this one will be special. Who knows who (or what!) will be lurking when I go thru its portals. ![]()

I expect to have a full schedule of the last June shows for Chaz sometime tomorrow (Monday), if not late today.
Remember, the last day to purchase gallons at $30 off the regular good price at QVC (compared to Chaz's website) is Sunday, June 30. One more week!
