I was away since Friday,  came home this evening with the intention of ordering my gallon.  Turned on QVC to hear Jill say some gallons have already sold out!  My utmost favorite that I have been waiting for - WVM is already gone!  Every time I use that someone always comments on how nice my hair looks.  I checked his website and did not see it there either.  I am heartbroken I missed out.  I was going to order on my phone, but the last time I did that my credit card was hacked and I prefer to order on line on my pc.  Now I have to decide which one to get.  I always wanted to try the Pink Jasmine Peony, maybe this is the time.

@bklyngrl  The Winter Vanilla Mint was sold out and then it reappeared. Maybe it will do that again.

There are people who order it, then cancel; or they put it on their "hold" list and then release it back into inventory. You can also check back in the morning and see if that happened.

And come December, it may be available again IF someone ordered it for their first shipment and decided they didn't need a second shipment and cancelled. Sometimes that happens and we see small amounts of product suddenly appear for short periods of time. It usually isn't something they advertise/mention on a program. You may just have to be vigilant.

Good luck!

@bklyngrl I have been thinking about this gallon thing, and it dawned on me, you never see any of his products come back "as is" due to returns. I can see where you couldn't send out again a lipstick or foundation that had been returned/used. However, if someone tried a gallon of one scent and didn't like it, exchanged it for something else, I would have no problem purchasing the returned one "as is."

It's not like the original owner of the gallon lifted up the big old gallon and poured it directly out of the container onto their head. They would have used the pump, which would not contaminate the rest. Or, they may do as I do and put 16 ounces pumped from the gallon into a smaller, easy to use container. I don't put all the gallon containers in the shower with me. Would be very crowded! ha!

So, where do the returns go? I wonder if Chaz takes them back and uses them in his salon. Surely he doesn't just dump the product out. Maybe he donates them to clinics or women's centers.

Hmmmm.....another good Periscope question!

The retured items whether unopened or barely used are sold off on pallets to "jobbers." These items can be found on ebay all the time. Many others, including myself have purchased Wen items there. A good Seller will disclose if an item is open, often with pictures if noticeably used.

@rochelleS Oh, that is good to know....as long as they disclose that information.

Thanks!

No problem ❤.

I've even seen individual sellers who tried a Wen product and for whatever reason, (usually stated) decided to sell it. I've seen many gallons offered under these circumstances over the years. Even our beloved WVM!

@rochelleS Just curious.....what do they normally sell a gallon of slightly used WEN?

I'd have to do a price history check on gallons sold on ebay. That info only goes back so far. I recall auctions from individuals and set prices or make an offer from the big sellers.

Years back a barely used WVM gallon sold for under 120.00 with shipping included. Prices do vary, often cheaper with supply and demand. Like many other things.

so something about eBay - years ago being a WEN girl was expensive - so sometimes it was cheaper to buy stuff on eBay.

sellers would break up TSVs and sell parts. When everyone was hating on FAS I must have accumulated about 50 bottles of the 2 oz Treatment mist for about 10.00. I also was able to try every remoist for what I thought was a good deal. But that was years  IMHO unless you know a product was part of a recent TSV it is probably old stuff. And most times now sellers want too much money anyway. I haven’t bought any Wen on eBay in years - the deals at  the Q are so much better now.
