Around 110,000 kits were sold on the day of TSV, but either 13,000 or 16,000 were sold before on pre-sale. I do believe Wen is doing just fine, even if they would somehow loose a new or potential customer that managed to get offended by that "someone's" comment.

By-the-way, the really bad and provoking comments I was referring to, they got already removed from this threat by a moderator, thankfully, because they were really harsh and too nasty to remain posted here.

It's not always about the money.

So much for Chaz's approach for harmony and positive energy.

I am not talking about the removed posts.

This is about the OP's questions and direct response.

Re: Scalp Build-Up Help! Please :-)

OP did get plenty of direct response and advice to her question on this thread. Some of the responses were precisely about nasty comments posted to and removed from this thread. I am not even going to discuss somebody else's money or anybody's "positive energy". I myself not always feeling it coming from everyone posting here either. But this is too subjective and personal to even try discussing here.

Re: Scalp Build-Up Help! Please :-)

Sonechko,

I did not know the exact date of the TSV because I have been unemployed for several months and can not afford to purchase anything, whether I want to or not. I do have 5 full bottles of WEN still in my stash because in the past, when I was financially stable, I have always stocked up on TSVs. Been doing that for at least six years now, but I guess I'm still a trouble making newbee.

What makes you so special that you get to assess and validate whether someone is worthy of respect on this board?

You make very cynical and harsh judgements about people, clearly with no thought for anyone else's feelings. I doubt that Chaz Dean would appreciate an unoffical representative like you.

And for the record, I never said I was boycotting WEN over the snarky comments here, I am just withdrawing from future abusive attitudes on this board. Yes, I am sure you do not care at all, but this is the last of my energy that will be wasted on the likes of someone like you.

I hope you are spared the treatment you dish out to others.

Curious, do you know her personally?

No I do not know her personally, nor does she know anything about me. Which is why the hatred directed at an innocent post is so shocking to me.

Know her, not at all. Want to? No Way!

Bluesky,

Actually I was not speaking to you.

Your asumptive response sure was speedy though.

@Drythe That was exactly what I had thought.. and thanks for clarifying that.Smiley Happy

Since you weren't around -- cause you were doing the really important stuff -- I read all the posts several times before posting my reply. I wasn't going to make assumptions or presume to speak for you, but I did want to share was I though I was reading. @sonechko and @BlueBirdSky that's where I was coming from. Smiley Happy

Re: Scalp Build-Up Help! Please :-)

You might want to try a monthly scalp exfoliation scrub. I use grape seed oil and brown sugar, but you can also use WEN and brown sugar.

I mix about 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and enough oil to turn it into a paste in the palm of my hand. It's messy, so I stand in the shower with the water off and massage this into my scalp and then wash as usual. If you don't have an oil you can use, you can also mix the brown sugar into some WEN to make a scrubby paste.

Well, to each his own, but I don't understand why someone knowingly has scalp build-up and wants to go back and forth.  The results are still the same with WEN.

Find a shampoo and conditioner that works without any scalp build-up and use it.

Most of us who use Wen use it instead of a shampoo and conditioner since we never found a traditional shampoo and conditioner that gave us the results of Wen.  Prior to Wen, I used many different salon brands of shampoo and conditioner but wasn't usually happy with the results.  It took me a long-time to finally decide to order Wen and I won't use anything else.
