I've been experimenting with the number of pumps I'm using. I know that Chaz always uses a lot when he's showing how to apply the mousse but I'm not sure more is better in my case. I have thin, fine hair which is almost to the middle of my back. I tried 10 pumps the other day and felt like my hair was kind of greasy when it dried. I seem to have much better luck with 4-5 pumps so while that may be much less than what I'm supposed to use for my length I get much better results with that.

I'm with you @HSB1204 4 or 5 pumps seems to be the right amount for me too, more than that just feels like too much. My hair is still pretty short, but has some natural wave & curl, it doesn't need more volume.

@FleaMktQn Yeah, I guess if your hair is thicker you can get away with using a lot more mousse but since my hair is so fine I realized that it was way too much. I don't mind a little volume but I feel like just using the CC makes my hair feel thicker so as long as the mousse will help control some my short new hairs that like to stick out I'm happy. @FleaMktQn My hair has always been really fine and thin. I like that Wen at least makes it feel like my hair is thicker than it really is. Cat Tongue

See this is my issue too, the more gray hair I get the finer, (and more unruly)...the SC seems to tame those fine, (sticky out hairs) better than the mousse for me...but I do use some mousse...I love having the new hair growth, but not sure being gray would be my first choice...lol

@quadmimi I like my gray hair, I've never colored it, just haven't ever wanted to. Wen has given me the Best hair I've ever had. No more frizzies or itchy scalp.

I stopped coloring, or highlighting mine @FleaMktQn. I think I'll cut it off to this color-left  line very soon. As soon as I get a courage. You know how much I praise having longer hair! Woman Happy

@FleaMktQnWell I don't really have what I think is gray hair, mine doesn't even look gray, one lady told me (that did a root color a long time ago) that mine just lost it's pigment all over all at once...I actually like the look of gray hair on others, just not me because I don't even have that..!..but thanks to Wen, whatever color I do have looks much better....

I always see you post about growing your hair out, I bet it is beautiful...Smiley Happy

@yisbuff Yes the dry air is giving me issues as well. I've been soaking my hair in replenishing mist even with leave in. I find I do need to use more leave in with BGT CC, but I went a little crazy the other night. I also sometimes go a bit crazy with the SCs so I have to find the balance. I love the SCs because they do seem to give my hair more heft

@quadmimi I haven't got a lot of gray hair yet and it's mostly in the front and I have to say it does seem finer too. One of the things I love about WEN is that it tames the little darlings, so they don't stick up quite as much. Plus, I've got naturally ash blonde hair and WEN seems to help them blend in colorwise.
