Re: Mousse Container Frustration

@TKeys No, I haven't tried that. I'll give it a shot. Just seemed weird that it was happening on three containers that were not purchased at the same time.

It just occurred to me that it appears the common denominator in this whole thing is me! LOL!  Maybe that's the problem. Smiley LOL

Re: Mousse Container Frustration

I had problems with one bottle where the liquid was coming out beside the pump mechanism. I had another empty bottle, so I replaced it with that one's lid. Any empty foam hand soap bottle would likely work though.

Re: Mousse Container Frustration

@worldtraveler....yes we had that trouble!.. My Husband tried putting his finger at end of the pump, (where product comes out of) then with finger over end he pumped it a  few times, then released his finger & it worked.. He said it was like re-priming it.

Everytime it hapoens we do that and it works fine.. Hope it helps..Smiley Happy

Re: Mousse Container Frustration

@World Traveler I have been through several bottles of mousse.  I have never had a pump quit on me after a couple weeks, but have had trouble with the last third of the bottle.  I emailed Chaz's customer service and they sent a replacement pump.  It seems some pumps get me through most of the bottle, while others quit when I have 1/3 of the product left.  When I have a great pump that gets me through almost all of the bottle I save it, knowing I will need it for a future bottle.

@TKeys @quadmimi

Before trying to contact Customer Service like @rochelleS suggested, I thought I would try out your two ideas first.

Per @TKeys I opened it up and made sure the inside tube was attached and didn't have a crack. Check!

I examined the tip and cleaned it under warm water to make sure it was in good order. Check!

And I took @quadmimi husband's trick of putting my finger at the end of the pump, blocking it while trying to pump; and then release my finger over the tip and gave it a quick pump. Check!

It works!! YAY!  And no, I didn't have the mindset to try pumping after each individual suggestion; I just did all three one right after the other, and was so happy it/they worked. If this happens again, I will try each suggestions as single solutions.

What would I do without you all? Heart

@World Traveler ..Oh great, I am glad you asked also...My 613 just quit pumping one day, it was about half full also...I showed the Hub and that is what he came up with..

I never thought about it happening to anyone else!...

It has happened after that, so I just use this method and it works for us..Smiley Happy

@quadmimi Oh, and I passed on all the tips to someone who is having a problem with one of Dr. Densse's containers. I don't use her products, but the title of the thread caught my eye because of my recent problems.

@World Traveler  Oh that was nice of you, I hope they helped her...I was so upset to think I had lost the rest of the mousse, I am not sure how my Hub thought to do that, I never thought of anyone else having that issue, tips are great for all of us...Smiley Happy
