Re: Mousse Container Frustration

Are any of you having trouble getting the mousse out of the container after using it for a couple of weeks? I'm on my third one and after doing my usual shake, shake, shake, after a while it stops coming out, even though I can tell there is still some in it.

It happened with the 613 mousse, and now with both Lavender containers. So it's not like it was a bad batch. Very frustrating.

What am I doing wrong?

________

I think it is hit or miss with each mousse container.  My very first mousse was SHL and it foamed up like crazy until the very end.  My second bottle was SHP and it didn't produce much foam.

(most of it was mostly liquid rather than foam).  My next ones WWC and MIF are still marginal on a great foam delivery.

I'm going to try @quadmimi suggestion about "priming" the pump trick.

I do not like having to transfer bottles and/or pumps to get a great foam.  Had I not had a great result with the first bottle of SHL mousse, I might have never reordered WEN mousse and gone back to my Living Proof mousse.  Maybe I'll try the MIF texturing spray and see if this has a better result/delivery system!

It is frustrating that all of the pumps don't produce a great amount of mousse foam instead of a watery version. Too much money to not have a great result with each and every bottle of WEN mousse.

@jpie  Oh yes please try it...We had to do it a couple times to my 613, but it worked both times...My Husband kept his finger over the end of pump & pumped maybe 5x or so and then took his  finger  off and the foam came out great...Smiley Happy
