@qtrmoonlady1

Another FAS lover here!  My curls really went to another level with it.  I'm out now, but I'm okay with that.  When FFA was launched it actually took 1st place over FAS with me.

I think we should all bookmark this thread, because people frequently freak out at the manufacturing date. No matter how many times we tell them not to worry, they do and send it back.

@World Traveler - I was thinking the same thing!

WOW!  That's great that you got in on that great deal!  I like that scent too.  I still have some RTMs in that.  Anyway, I don't even look at dates.  I feel that if it smells the same and "seems" same in every other way, I use it.

That's great how lovely your hair came out.  I mix too.  I love doing that and I see you like Wen Men.  OH, that one sends me.  Anyway, I'm glad you posted this because I have a similar thing.  I purchased the seasonal with the NBT and I chose Spring Cherry Blossom.  So, I used it this morning in the shower, the Cleansing Conditioner and my point is not the date but it was very thick in consistency which is fine but it didn't cream up really thick in my hair like the others.  I found it very astringent.  That's fine too.  It just seemed very different.   It's a scent that I really never gravitated to.  The Cleansing Condiioner and the NBT both smelled fine, just like I remember.  My hair came out really great too.  I was wonderfing if you tried this scent and if your experience was like mine.  Yes, I know a lot of people like the Fall Apple Spice but it wasn't too popular when it first came out.  I saw posts where people said it was too strong in the maple note but I liked it.  I think some need a while to decide if they like a scent and I think I'm like that.  Some scents take me a little while but some I fall in love with immediately.  Isn't Indigo amazing?  I love that too!  The nice price it is right now too!  That's true people either loved the FAS or did not.  LOL!

@77yangyaHi!  I never liked the Cherry Blossom CC - I used it once and didn't like the scent, and like you, I found it too astringent - it did not do as great a job in my hair as the other CC's.  It's one of the few CC's I avoid (I also avoid BGT for the same reason), but I'm glad your hair came out beautiful!   I remember people complaining that FAS smelled too much like a Yankee Candle, but I always loved it.   It's at the top of my WEN wish list, but I don't think it's ever gonna come true!  Heart

I couldn't give this away for free. Very strong maple scent with 0 apple scent. Why he named it fall apple is beyond me. That's a gripe with this names, many are very misleading. I just cancelled fall white pumpkin because again, so many wrote no vanilla, no pumpkin. It's sandalwood. Another gripe is he used to offer 6 oz cleansing conditioners. No more. Why? We spend less to sniff first. 16 oz is pricey for many and we won't use it if we don't like it. Return it? Well, shipping is on us. Thanks. Rant over. I'm on fixed income so being able to get a sample or the 6 oz bottle size would really help me, but it's all about profit. I asked cs one time and that's what they said, no profitable. :/

Well I liked the FAS scent, albeit rather potent, but that buttery rich maple fragrance seemed so homey and comforting as the weather got crisp and colder. So I tried an experiment with some used Glade or AirWick plug it in little glass air freshener bottles. I refilled one with FAS rtm and the other with diluted FAS CC...hoping one or the other would difuse the fragrance when plugged in. Unfortunately,  my little experiment failed. I would've liked to smell FAS in the house. Oh well, it was worth a try. (((🙃)))

That is my favorite of all Wen fragrances. I really wish he would bring it back.

Didn't hear fas is gone for good.... i have opened lime and winter citrus from 2015. Still good. Store it not in the bathroom cupboard but in a cool dark closet making sure top is on tight. They say 2 years after opening because they want to make more money. I don't play that game with anything. If it is fine, smells the same works the same, why toss it? You can always try it on a small area. It won't harm you...

That was my husband's favorite, as well. I wish that we could get it again. Maybe a special run of old favorites?

Wow! qtrmoonlady1 !!!  That's amazing!  I don't even look at the dates on my stuff.  I remember when Chaz had those gallons real cheap like that a while ago.  I think they sold out.  That's an amazing price you got too.  You like Wen Men too!  I love it.  You're a mixer!  Me too!  I even mix in the bottle.  So glad for you!!!
