Today I decided to open a gallon of Fall Apple Spice that I had bought on Chaz's site on clearance for $128.  It's been sitting, unopened, in the sealed box it came in - since August 2014!!   I knew it had arrived a long time ago, but didn't realize it was that long.  It looked settled, but otherwise fine, no mold, and the scent was as I remembered it.  So I figured maybe it's time to start using it, eh?  I used it tonight as a second cleanse with Bella Spirit Indigo, and Wen Men and Mandarin Italian Fig as the 1st cleanse.  The result?  Soft, shiny waves - the 6 years didn't take anything away from the Fall Apple Spice.  I wish Chaz would bring it back, but I guess it's gone forever.  People either loved or hated it - I loved it.

@qtrmoonlady1 the same thing happened to me with a gallon of BGT, hide it so well I forgot it was there. Lol it was fine and I’m half way through it. I also still have a good size stash of Fall Apple that I use sparingly because I really enjoy it. Happy Wenning!

@quadmimi, @katwalker and @ANewHue - Shows how great the  product is, when after 6 years it's still as good as new!  Cat Happy:Woman HappyHeart

I think we should all bookmark this thread, because people frequently freak out at the manufacturing date. No matter how many times we tell them not to worry, they do and send it back.

WOW!  That's great that you got in on that great deal!  I like that scent too.  I still have some RTMs in that.  Anyway, I don't even look at dates.  I feel that if it smells the same and "seems" same in every other way, I use it.

That's great how lovely your hair came out.  I mix too.  I love doing that and I see you like Wen Men.  OH, that one sends me.  Anyway, I'm glad you posted this because I have a similar thing.  I purchased the seasonal with the NBT and I chose Spring Cherry Blossom.  So, I used it this morning in the shower, the Cleansing Conditioner and my point is not the date but it was very thick in consistency which is fine but it didn't cream up really thick in my hair like the others.  I found it very astringent.  That's fine too.  It just seemed very different.   It's a scent that I really never gravitated to.  The Cleansing Condiioner and the NBT both smelled fine, just like I remember.  My hair came out really great too.  I was wonderfing if you tried this scent and if your experience was like mine.  Yes, I know a lot of people like the Fall Apple Spice but it wasn't too popular when it first came out.  I saw posts where people said it was too strong in the maple note but I liked it.  I think some need a while to decide if they like a scent and I think I'm like that.  Some scents take me a little while but some I fall in love with immediately.  Isn't Indigo amazing?  I love that too!  The nice price it is right now too!  That's true people either loved the FAS or did not.  LOL!

I was think the same thing!!!!  I don't look at dates at all.  I only check dates on food that I get from the grocery store.  I have Wen from LONG time ago and still use it and it's fine.

o yes - poor FAS - got so much hate - made it disappear.

but there was something very unique about the formula - I think it was the maple - very moisturizing for the hair.

@untitled  I agree about the maple. Out of every Wen I have used, my "wavy curls" were never better than FAS...
