We have had the SUNPASS for about 2years.  Purchased at service area on way to FL

The type we purchased was on suction cups to change to different vehicles, change information about car and license plate on the website.   

well...recently the Sunpass website indicates that the transponder is NOT transferrable! One transponder for one car only!  WHAT?   FYI! 

we have a credit card  on file with them and is auto replenished if balance drops below $10. 

DH visits his 88 yo Mother in Vero Beach 3-4 times a year.  He gets better gas milage in the Toyota Avalon (Miss Pearl) and leaves The Truck home for me.  We used to go in either the truck or car but he does not want to get another transponder for the truck.  

The SunPass lanes are very convenient, no wait time for lines at the Tolls.     

I bellieve the SunPass can be used on Georgia Toll roads, we were told that a few years ago but have not researched this information recently.

SUN PASS UPDATE! 

DH checked the SunPass website and NOW  they are indicating that the transferable transponder with suction cups can be used with any vehicles you have listed on the account/website.  You do have to go to the website and indicate which vehicle/license tag you are using with the transponder for the trip.   

DH usually drives the car to FLA  instead of his truck because of better gas mileage.
