Going on a week cruise and someone suggested using packing cubes.

Do you use them and do they really work as well as suggested?

Thank you!

@homedecor1 - Wouldn't travel without them.  You can find lots of them on Amazon.

YES.......great for organizing your wardrobe and keeping things a bit neater and a little less wrinkled within your luggage. also good for your personal items and toiletries. pack extras and they also make a great place to put dirty clothes for your return home.

i have some from amazon, some from makeup junkie, and some from bumblebella.

Yes, they do. I love them. They keep your things organized and secure.

I like the idea that everything is packed in them securely and then placed into the suitcase. If something should happen and the suitcase opens, the items wouldn't be falling all over the place. 😂

I bought a great set from GILI. They're so convenient and they have the compression feature, which allows you to fit more in it. I usually can fit 2 large cubes in a small suitcase.

Where is your cruise going? Have a wonderful time!

I have been using packing cubes and packing envelopes for more than 25 years.  I have traveled all over the world with them and always use them.

I have a lot.  They were a great investment.

I'm also going on a cruise soon and I just purchased a set of compression packing cubes on Amazon. I'm getting them on Monday and haven't tried compression ones yet.

I think they are good for organizing small accessories, and socks, and undergarment, but I don't use them for other pieces of clothing. For my dirty laundry I bring plastic bags or a kitchen bag. Shoes and slippers also go in plastic bags so that the soles don't contaminated or soil anything else.

Yes!!  Although I've been traveling for 50+ years, I only started using using packing cubes for about the past 5 or 6 years.  Don't know why it took me so long--LOL!! They keep items organized.  Just recently I bought the "compression" packing cubes.  I can fit a lot of clothes into them.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

@homedecor1 , I always use packing cubes.  Lift from the suitcase to the bureau for small items.  So easy.  I bought a set for DH but he never uses them.
