I just used my Triforce luggage to go to California.  It was the worst luggage ever.  Because of Covid we haven't been on vacation in a very long time .  Just before covid hit hard I purchased the Triforce Set and We never used it because no one was  going on vacation.  Here it is three years later, never used, the strap is broke when I went to use it and you open it up and because both sides are even all of your clothes go everywhere.  I called Triforce and no one has gotten back to me.  They don't even answer the telephone Triforce.. I called QVC and they said they would get back to me in 2 days and I haven't heard from them yet.  I would never buy from them again.

My opinion is to buy sturdy luggage if you plan to check them. We got some bargin luggage for an international trip. It's a sick feeling when you luggage arrives a tub bc it fell apart. Another piece arrived in tack but the wheels were broken.

So if you saw a travler trapsing out of the airport with luggage held together with that silver tape, that would have been me.

We have both the old standards such as American Standard or the like and I have newer Samantha Brown. I do watch out the plane window to see them load luggage. They do throw things around, they have to hurry up and get it loaded on that ramp thing that pulls it up to the plane. I also read reviews. I was going to purchase my son new luggage for a job he took which involves traveling. I also went to a store and looked at the luggage that was available at that time (during the first wave pandemic). There was no store near me any longer that sold the higher quality stuff. Some were the same old names but really low quality fabrics and insides, and likely the wheels. I like the hard sided Samanath Brown a lot. I also use the packing cubes, love them. I purchased mine on Amazon. I ended up buying son a speciality type piece of luggage on amazon, sigh.

Bought a Triforce set during Covid/2020, (carry-on size wheelie suitcase, cosmetics case, nylon packables), and finally got to use it, this year, to travel.

I love it. Looks great, wheels smoothly, got compliments on the little cosmetic case which I carried as my carry-on. I wound up checking the other "carry-on" sized suitcase, just because the flight was full and everyone was scrambling to find room in the overheads.

I will say, I bought it for carry-on, not checking, and from now on I'd only use it for that, or for few day road trips, stuff like that. Because that one trip where I checked it, it did come out all scuffed. That said, with some elbow grease and "Goo Gone" I was able to buff it all clean again, but I don't want to have to do that every time.

There are sturdier, "serious" and more expensive hard-sided luggage out there, that might take a licking more, depends on your travel needs. But this is very stylish and decent quality. Triforce & SB I'd put in the same category...more style than super sturdy. From what little I've seen of the SB, I think the Triforce are more sharp looking!

I got this set to replace a little soft-sided Travelon overnighter I'd had. Wanted another small soft-side, never found another I liked, saw this, got it instead.

I'm happy I got it...for the whole set I paid about $111.00 on sale. (It was about $160.00 regularly.)

For bigger trips I use another brand bf has from his set, bigger, sturdier hard-side. If I needed a new suitcase for serious travel, I'd invest in a sturdier one like that. I don't know what brand he has, but it's well made and was expensive. I think you do get what you pay for in luggage, but also, as I said, depends on your needs, if you want it for carry-on, vs. checking it etc.

Hope that helps you decide, good luck with your choice!

I have Travelpro, 19 " International carry on Maxlite. Also bought their soft tote but recently travelled and learned the tote is too large for the wonderful 19" carry on and it tips over, besides it's a hazzle to carry. A backpack would have been better. I just bought a Vera Bradley backpack. Happy now.

Samantha Brown luggage is junk imo.  It looks cheap & came apart first trip.  My set now is Tri-Force since it was first designed for flight attendants. I don't travel enough to invest thousands in luggage.

My Samantha Brown luggage is durable . I have flown with it multiple times over the past close to 10 years.🤷‍♀️
