Re: Seriously, a whole hour of the Calista perfector?

I can't help but wonder why they only offer a 60-day warranty. I bought two different Chi products (one being the same as the Calista) instead because of the warranties they had--one had a one-year warranty and the other item had two years. I will never buy Calista until they offer at least a year.

My gripe with these Perfector presentations is they always bring out a model whose hair has been done already and then run the Perfector through it to show how you can get curl, straighten, etc.  By the end of the day, the same models' hair has been "perfectored" probably 15-20 times. The demos are useless.

Why don't they bring out a model with freshly washed and dried hair and use it and show what it does?

Preferably, bring out someone with thin, fine, poker straight, just washed and dried hair and let's see this thing work.

I feel exactly the same way.  In an hour show, start with fresh-washed hair, show us the product used, then the tool used for styling.  I don't buy for a minute that the models' hair hasn't been professionally styled before running that Perfector in it.

This has been around for years, I can get it much cheaper elsewhere and free shipping-

I have the original Perfecter and still use it.  I'm pretty sure it has a 1.5" barrel.  I'd like a 1" but there are plenty of heated styling brushes on Amazon for a lot less $$.

I love my Perfecter..I had the original..but when she came out with the Swap topI retired my original one and bought that one. I have 4 different brushes for my one unit. I paid $89.00 for one unit with 2 size brushes.I then purchased 2 other brushes....It works great! QVC no longer offers the Swap/Top..but you can still get it on Maria's website

I got sucked into one of the presentations later in the evening and decided to buy it. When it arrived, I played with it for about a half hour, couldn't figure out what exactly to do with it, packed it up and sent it back.

I received the TSV Perfector and it is exactly like the older model I have! The barrel is not longer! Once again QVC shipped something different from they were selling.
