I have a question about using the NuFace if you get fillers - Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, etc.

Is it ok to use microcurrent technology?  Somewhere, in the cobwebs of my mind, I think I remember reading that it will make the fillers "disintegrate" before their time.  True or not?

My daughter wanted to order one, and she also had a question.  She wanted to know whether it could be used more often than suggested, i.e. twice a day or for more than five minutes.  Or did they mean five minutes on each side of the face.  Appaarently these weren't answered.

I have not seen this TSV presentation, but have watched in the past. For those prior presentations, they said five minutes on the forehead, five minutes on the left side of the face, and five minutes on the right side of the face.

Some months ago a caller asked if they could do more, would it be beneficial. As I recall, the vendor said that her mother uses it around 15 minutes total (five minutes each day in the three areas). I got the impression that you can use it more the recommended five times a week (maybe that amount of days is different for this newer version). She also said her mother uses it while watching the evening news.

A question that a call-in asked during the presentation several months ago was, can you use it on your neck? The vendor said "we can only say that it has been approved for the face," which told me that you might be able to use it in other areas. They are only allowed to talk about the face.

Hope this helps!

You might also check the reviews for the regular NuFace in the product information area  and see if your questions have been addressed by some reviewer in that section.

@celebration1  Wouldn't that be a question for your dermatologist?

@Perkup  There's info on their website under FAQs

Why yes, DoneTryin, I would ask my derm if she were sitting here in front of me or, easily accessible at the moment.

I thought this was a general discussion and I am not the only one who might benefit from the answer to this question.

  Sheesh.

celebration1, that's a great question.  I don't remember that being asked or addressed.  Their FAQs on their website say that if you are thinking about (had) facelifts, laser treatments, injectables, to talk with your dermatolgist.  In other words, no answer tonight.  I don't think that NuFace is doing a Q&A on QVCs website.

celebration1, I did check to see if there was a Q&A section under the TSV.  There was one, and there were a lot of questions...some answered, some not.  I did see a question which was similar to yours.  Unfortunately, the answer listed was what I mentioned in my recent post.  It's the same as the answer on Nuface's website about talking with your dermatologist.  Wish you could get an answer today.

The presenter said you can do the entire face in five minutes NOT 5 minutes for each area. If you look at the instructions on the video it also says five minutes for an entire face for the basic treatment and there is an advanced treatment that you can use for 20 minutes. She also mentions an article in ELLE about this being BOTOX best friend. It's just working out your muscles I don't see any reason why you couldn't use it with other treatments My friend bought hers from her plastic surgeon who recommended she use it after a small procedure she had. I guess if you wanted to be safe you could ask your doctor. Good luck!
