Ninja Crispi TSV... need help !

Saw that so many of you loved yours!

Crispi is all clean, on the counter, pretty and petite.

Confused on operating her.  After plugging it in  a #10 comes on.

Do you always have to unplug when not cooking?

How do you turn it off?

Do you put the pod on your counter top when removed while cooking?

So many questions before I even begin trying to cook?

.qv

OH NO!!

I bet if you went on YouTube and typed "how to use Ninja Crispi", you would find several tutorials. When I got my instantpot did that & I found how to use it, recipes & other tips

Did you get a user's manual with your Crispi? If so, I would read it and find the information. If not, you can go to their website and download the manual. They have a customet support phone number on their website.

I have read it.  The questions do not seem to be answered..   never would think to put a hot pod on my counter top.

Some of the owners may have insite, suggestions and understand my concerns.

CS usually is someone who doesn't use it they just read the instructions back to you.

@hopi  If you go to YouTube, they have a couple videos that will explain. The hot pod doesn't sit on your counter top because it has a base to protect the glass. Just watch the video.

Per Users Manual:

24 - ALWAYS turn unit off and unplug from socket when not in use and before cleaning.

Watched it.... the pod is hot and on a base.. You don't have enough hands  to empty the glass and hold the pod.

@hopi  I don't know what you are watching but you put the pod on the glass base..You take the pod off the galss container and sit it down on your counter. The glass container is on a base with two handles.

Re: Ninja Crispi TSV... need help !

Within 6 weeks my Crispi heat sensor failed and nothing cooked. First Crisp setting was impacted then Air Fry same thing.  Replaced unit does not cook very fast, baking is not possible.  There are no adjustments in temp and everything is simly air frying at temps 5* or so different..  Great Idea but I'm going back to my large dual basket air fryer.

@elated

Love the visual, cooked with it, the pod is hot and emits so much heat after cooking. I have fiberglass trays and placed it on there and the heat still traveled to the counter top.  It's hard to believe that none of the users are worried about burning their counter tops.  Placing on the stove would be even more dangerous.

I really appreciate your imput.
