I've been wanting to try these for a long time, and I needed a stocking stuffer for my brother-in-law, so I ordered! Got the farmhouse set, and it's going to be hard to pick which one to give away, because I love all the colors. LOL

I currently just have regular kitchen scissors, and I use them every single day, so I know I'll get a lot of use out of these shears.

I love these and make a nice little gift. I buy a generic brand batteries and the best thing to open those pesky packages. They haven't had them as TSV in years.

I dont understand how they are self sharpening? Says this in the description,.

Yes, I've never seen them as a TSV.  Haven't seen the Primula mugs with as a TSV either this season.

When you squeeze them open and close just a few times, (like you’re cutting something but you’re not) they will sharpen automatically.

I'm getting the brights set because they will be easier to find. My husband has a tendency to grab my kitchen sheers & other items & leave them all over the house when he's done using them. I swear, I'm going to have to hide a pair! He grew up in a home where his mother was very messy & didn't clean her house enough. He's not as bad as she was, but he still often doesn't put things back where they belong. For me, it's everything in it's place & a clean house. I love him to the moon & back. Nobody is perfect.

@scrapperlisa , thank you. I will definitely try. I wasn't sure if they'd do that or not. It's very frustrating, especially because I really hesitated because of the price when I ordered, so now here it is at a much more decent price. I know it's not a ton of money but at this time of year, every little bit helps.

I purchased a set last year ,  I love these. I usually them solely for kitchen use.   I do like the latching mechanism on these as opposed to the first set I bought several years ago.   They make good gifts for anyone who spends any time in the kitchen.   They never tarnish.  I have been using the same one constantly  over a year and it still working like a charm and still have another 3 in the original box they came in last year.  They have gone up in price.  I believe I paid $39.98 last year
