Before these shears I cut myself numerous times on those despicable plastic monstrosities!

Re: Kuhn Rikon TSV - November 26, 2025

I have given these as gifts to my adult children and they love them and use them as much as I do. I use mine several times a day and have one in every room and even in my car.

Sometimes I order QVC frozen food and they are really great for cutting open that thick plastic covering on individually frozen meat and salmon, because they are strong and food-safe.

"Devil's packaging" made me laugh. I really miss Mark Charles Misilli, the vendor rep who used to present these shears and the Primula tumblers. I wonder when a Primula TSV will be offered? Maybe in the next week?

I have a set that I purchased a few years ago, and still use to this day. I easily use them a couple of times a week.

I used a pair last night to cut off a plastic zip tie knot.

They are very convenient and live up to the hype.

They appear to have no latch to keep them closed in a drawer.

@Kachina624 - If you locate the item on the website there's a picture within the listing that shows the lock.

@JeanLouiseFinch.  I found better pictures and see the latch.  I have a set that has none and they are a PIA.

And David's great input about comparing why flimsy egg cartons when eggs are so delicate vs impermeable battery packs.

Re: Kuhn Rikon TSV - November 26, 2025

I ordered 2 sets of the shears on November 23 at the higher price. Then surprise, surprise! Wednesday, November 26 they appeared as a TSV. I contacted the social team about a price adjustment.

Thanksgiving Day, November 27, I received an email stating "I regret to say that we will not be able to honor price adjustments for this order as Limited-Time special offers such as Today’s Special Values, Lunchtime Specials, etc. are valid only during the timeframe stated. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this."

The price adjustment for the two orders was rejected. Did anyone receive an adjustment on your request or am I the unlucky one?

@Pecan Sandie I would call CS and ask..If they say no call again until you get a rep that will honor price matching..I have had this happen and called 3 x and finally got a rep to honor it.
