Besides all the mismatched plaid, the pockets really bug me on this.

Me too. They're too oversized....or something.

These shirts remind me of painter smocks.

Wow, can't they come up with some new designs instead of these over priced boyfriend shirts! I used to love Joan's clothes, they just keep repeating these boyfriend shirts!

The back has a center button placket on the bottom half sewn with diagonally placed fabric.

I am not purchasing this.  That beng said, the black and pink are not too bad.  The back, though, is dreadful.  What were "they" thinking?  The price is absurd--esp. for a made in China TSV.

I think the shirt is very cute.  I particularly like the navy plaid.  However, 100% cotton is just not my thing.  I don't mind a little ironing here and there, but this is likely to be wrinkled mess the minute you sit down with it on.

I liked the shape but am going to pass because of the plaid seam mismatch, especially on the back, and 100% cotton requires ironing.

I was surprised it was all cotton, as there are so many

blends sold here.

you can wash put in the dryer for couple minutes hang dry, would be fine, and just iron the collar, so that would not really bother me.  it's not my look

I love the fact that it is all cotton, but those pockets bug me.

I believe I heard him say it was a cotton twill which is a very nice fabric.  I don't worry about the cotton.  I usually put anything cotton in dryer for 5 min. or less to get wrinkles out and then hand to dry.  The dryer is not your friend with any material.

I hate to disagree with all the negativity, but I think it is really cute!  I love the length in back and the pockets in the front.  Looking at the size chart, I think I will need to size down from my regular medium at retail.  I love shirts with pockets and this is cute for layering as well.Smiley Happy

Just not into plaid right now. It's cute in the red, black and navy but the plaid just doesn't do anything for me.
