It's the TSV.  I totally agree that the hosts should use the correct pronunciation.   It isn't that difficult!

They have producers talking  to them through their earbuds.  Shouldn't the producers be correcting them?

I honestly don't understand why one is dismissive of learning the correct way to pronounce a word. I always look up words that I'm not sure of, and if I was presenting on tv, you can bet that I would check it out.

I don't have to Google. I took many years of French and lived in a French speaking country for two years

Mary Beth is not the only host who says "la" instead of "le."  Mary is just as guilty.  QVC promotes the product being manufactured in France; therefore, the hosts should learn to pronounce it properly.  Their job is to talk, so speak clearly and say the words properly.
