What kind of Nook do you have because I can watch TV on mine. I have NookHD and I can view TV shows using my Comcast account, HULU and You Tube. I can also access Netflix content using my subscription.

I am calling Barnes and Noble Customer Service now to see if I can download the Adobe flash to my Nook? So far I have not been able to do it on my own? I do not have Netflex I will ask Barnes and Noble this also. Thanks for the information You are doing a better job than QVC is!

I just called Barnes and Noble Customer Service, I cannot download Adobe Flash on my Nook, so where do I turn?

Re: Haier TSV Question please!

Last night at midnight, Albany Irvin said to contact herself or Craig Smith, the person presenting the Haier product via their Facebook pages and no answer. SHAME ON YOU QVC!

Re: Haier TSV Question please!

Seems to me like the Haier Company spreads itself pretty thin. So far we've seen air conditioners and TVs from them. Makes me wonder about the quality. I have one of their TVs. The picture is good but the audio is terrible. Here's what Wikipedia says about them. "Haier Group is a Chinese multinational consumer electronics and home appliances company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong, China. Its products include air conditioners, mobile phones, computers, microwave ovens, washing machines, refrigerators, and televisions." They were originally a refrigerator company.

I'm new to tablets. Do you need a virus protection plan, like on a laptop?

Can I buy additional tech support, and square trade warranty?

For a beginner to tablets, don't want to spend a lot. Anybody have advice? Thanks

The best starter tab would be an Apple, or Kindle Fire HDX, or a Samsung Galaxy Note tab 8" or Samsung Galaxy tab 8".
I suggest you go online and read reviews and watch video at YouTube.

You do not need virus protection with an Apple tablet. You can find a free Virus scanner app from Norton when running an Android.

Is the tablet HD compatible? Can I stream HD through it to my big screen TV?

You need to look at the manual on the product page to see if it will stream HD content.

Re: Haier TSV Question please!

You know, I always remember one lesson from civics class waaaay back in high school..."you get what you pay for". A price like that one something like a tablet, to me indicates you're going to have nothing but trouble from this sort of purchase. I would not even consider buying something like this.

Re: Haier TSV Question please!

I think it is what it is. I purchased one for a few reasons. One it is for my 5 yr old grandaughter who loves all things purple. It will be a fantastic learning tool for her. With the spills, and drops protection I would normally have to pay extra for I see this as a bonus. Some of us cant or dont want to spend the price of an apple or nexus for a beginning tablet so this is a great price point. Of course you get what you paid for and for that reason I dont expect all the bells and whistles. I also have a computer geek son who works in the industry and while he says it is not one I would want or need or he would use because we are used to bigger and badder he says it is not the worse of the worse on the market and should be good for Maddie to learn on. And the best part is she will have 30 days to try it, play with it etc and if not then back it goes and I have not lost anything. So get it with the thought in mind that you are NOT getting an ipad or a samsung or a nexus but a plain basic tablet.
