Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

This attempt to recapture TSV buzz, a la Retro-Q has fallen flat. Thus far, I've not seen a single TSV that held any more interest for me than I have for the past decade. Nothing 'must have', new or unique that I've seen.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

I so agree.

It's a non-event, thus far.

A company reaching back to its past hoping for future success.

But 2022 isn't 1990.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

I actually feel less compelled to purchase the TSVs with the old/new system.  I liked seeing what was coming up in a few days as a TSV and comparison shop.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

I thought they said the TSV would only be available one day now on air/online?  I see the Mr. Christmas Tree on Saturday is still available online today listed as a TSV.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

@LovemesomeQ1979  Thank you for mentioning this as I find it kind of confusing if they're promoting a 1 day best price item but for more than 1 day.

I clicked on TSV & Deals on the top of the home page last night & there are several tsv's from the past listed including the tree, the Girls w/Curves dress, Isaac's polo shirt.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

It is July 13th noon CDT.  On July 12th, I bought the Pop Sonic Spade for $49.98 as it was the TSV.  So I just looked at this item ... https://www.qvc.com/Pop-Sonic-Spade-Face-%26-Body-Cleansing-Tool-with-Case.product.A515540.html?prod...

and the product price is still priced at $49.98.  Take a look for yourself and see if I'm right.

I'm guessing that QVC didn't sell enough but apparently they don't ALWAYS change the TSV price after midnight.  Not sure what to make of it but wanted to point it out.

@KarenK

You're right!  That July 12 TSV Pop Sonic Spade is still listed as a TSV with the same price today -- July 13.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

I think the NEW TSV policy is terrible,. I don't have time to sit and watch TV all day, let alone qvc. I have a life. I do, however, dvr the shows I like so that I can view them when I get home. I have been a long time customer of qvc, and I spend a ton of money on here. The main draw for me is the .5 Easy Pay offer, bit I ALSO shop at qvc because they have ALWAYS honored the price adjustment policy within 30 days. Well the other day I missed a 3pc Homeworx offer on candles for $29.96 per set. I wanted 2 sets for Xmas gifts. I called the very NEXT morning, as we were out of town for a few days. I was told NO, the pale price could NOT be honored due to the NEW policy. ??? Wow. Really??

The set is now approx $59!

Does qvc think people are going to buy it at THAT price, after seeing it for HALF that?

How stupid a policy is this? They would rather lose a sale than honor the price adjustment? EVERY storefront I know of (and most larger etailers), honors price adjustments; and qvc also honoring price adj is what had kept me loyal. Now that Amazon offers easy pays many times. I am starting to buy there more often. I just bought a Sunnyhealth treadmill from amz vs qvc because they had a better price AND 3asy pay! If qvc feels creating "excitement" over their TSV shows, rather than being loyal to their customer base (especially now that our economy is in such a downfall and mayny of us are stuggling financially!), then I will take my purchasing power elsewhere when I miss a TSV. I certainly will not be paying the non sale price if I miss a tsv show. Nor am I going to waste away in front of my TV or iphone to catch the tsv shows.  I work, I help  take care of an elderly family member, and we do travel.

I think qvc should go back to honoring a sale price adjustment, especially if you miss the show by ONE day!

Ridiculous policy.

Re: Email from QVC re change to TSV

Just my .02 cents, but for me it takes the fun out of the TSV's now. I get what some have said, that it's no big deal, it's going back to the way it used to be, etc. I've just really enjoyed the whole trying to get an early look and maybe even order early thing for some time now. Love it when a designer spills the beans early and I run and look it up. Now the fun is kinda gone for me. Lol. Oh well, guess I'll adapt. ;-)
