@yamma024Agreed. My mom was a stickler for that, and so...so am I!.....Also, tight ankle pj bottoms (that crawl up during the night) are a deal breaker for me, and most often what QVC brands are presenting of late.

Matching costs more & uses more fabric which is wasteful...all you pj plaid matchers are killing the planet, lol. I pay attention to matching in my out & about clothing, I wear Cuddl Duds at home so don't care if it matches. I purchased the last CD TSV Double Plush lounge set, they're nicely made, warm without being too hot & easy care. Every clothing item in all brands can be a winner or a loser....I never write a brand off as cheap, you just never know what you'll find in their line. ***Two sizes of print, the glitches on the site never stop...good grief.

Besides the seams not matching, I personally think that most colors and patterns on this TSV are quite ugly.

People complain that they'd never go out of the house in lounge wear and PJs, yet now they're complaining that the plaids don't match in those same clothes they say they'd never wear away from their home. So you all want perfectly matched plaids in your PJs, I guess. People also complain that QVC has raised the prices too high, yet you're complaining that PJs/lounge wear should spend more money making these clothes with matching seams.

We all have our opinion, and mine is that I love the fit and comfort of Cuddl Duds. And I don't mind if my pajamas and morning lounge wear doesn't have perfectly matched seams. Perhaps your shopping for lounge wear or PJs should be from a higher end store, at a higher end price as well. LOL!

Enjoy the rest of your day!

There is a diagonal plaid. I would assume it's impossible to match diagonals.

One thing I don't understand is that as guests here on this forum, how people can come to the "Today's Special Value" thread and brutally bash the items.

PS Lands End plaids don't match either.

I guess the not matching of plaids is a cost saving measure? To me it cheapens the look of the garment. Way back in the day when I learned how to sew I was taught how to match plaids.

It's PJs. Why would anyone care if the plaid matches if you wear them to sleep in.

Matching plaids takes time, and more material. They can't make money if they do the garment correctly. Cheap, cheap. This is exactly why I won't buy them anymore. All their fleece pills right away. Total waste of money.
