I saw Nicolle on Dave Letterman about a week ago. When he introduced her, he made mention of the fact that she is a host on The View. When she sat down, The View was never, ever mentioned again and all they talked about was politics. She is very, very smart and ready with her answers. This is her forte. I really enjoyed listening to her. She was G.W. Bush's "communication" something or other. She had a really important job.

On The View, she is always sukking up to Whoopi. When Whoopi's chair broke, Nic rushed up to fix it. When Whoopi had lipstick on her face, Nic was there with the tissue to wipe it off. When Whoopi was in the hospital, Nic was the one to visit her for 3 hours and took a video to show on the show. Maybe it's just me - but hey, who knows??????

Right before the segment with Banderas, Rosie announced that they had taped that earlier, but Joy and Rosie did have the same clothes so it was probably done before the whole show today was recorded. Perhaps Nicolle got sick and went home before that recording. I agree, though, that it did make it a little confusing.

I did not see Nicolle's appearance on Letterman but it doesn't surprise me that he didn't bring up The View again (it is on ABC and not his CBS) because he loves to talk politics and more serious topics.

I honestly think the show will be cancelled. It isn't even enjoyable to watch anymore.

I could have sworn that Rosie Perez was suppose to be back today. I'm watching now and no Rosie. This just adds fuel to the rumor she's not coming back. They should put this show out of it's misery!

They said Rosie P opens her play tonight but I don't know if the show was taped. Where is Rosie O?

I rarely watch - Whoopie couldn't even read the prompter correctly.

Looking forward to Stacy London's new show this Friday.

They didn't say where Rosie O was, I think maybe she went to the Super bowl. They definitely promoed that Rosie P was coming back in February. I can't remember the last time all 4 were on together, probably before Christmas.

I was thinking that it was going to be Tuesday for Rosie P's return, but I could be wrong. My memory doesn't work very well anymore.

I haven't watched today's episode yet (getting ready to, though) but one thing I noticed when Whoopi came back is that she seems very dismissive of Rosie O. I almost wonder (just purely inappropriate speculation) that maybe she's not loving that Rosie O did such a good job as moderator when Whoopi was out sick. At least Rosie O gave HER respect, but I don't think she reciprocates.

Rosie said last week that she ordered Super Bowl tickets and then her son's team lost but they were going anyway. Probably couldn't get a flight back since LaGuardia apparently was closed. I thought when she was rehired that it would be a problem with 2 big egos like hers and Whoopi's to co-exist and it sure seems like they barely tolerate each other on air although they won't admit it.

Today's show was the absolute worst so far. Whoopi never said anything about Rosie P. and barely mentioned Rosie O. Just said she "isn't here"...... It was live because they talked about the SB. I read Rosie O's tweets and she didn't mention going to the SB. She just said something about being "snowed in with the kids".... I know she has a house in Nyack, NY and it really snowed there.

Meanwhile, back at The Talk. Things are really going swimmingly there. I am liking that show more and more whenever I watch it. At least, they are mostly all there every day.

LOL - I was just reading Rosie O's tweets and someone tweeted her with copies to Whoopi, Nicolle, Rosie P - saying "I am going to watch The View tomorrow just to see who works there".......
