This hasn't been my favorite season.  Maybe it's run it's course for me.

Doesn't help that I know or heard of very few of the singers.

I agree with you.  Not that I've watched all the seasons, but I am getting very disappointed, not only in not knowing any of these singers - well, I did know Hanson and I don't think they should have been voted off - but I don't know most of these songs as well.  I also don't like when they all choose slower and sadder songs for emotional appeal.  I like a little more liveliness added in.

I'm guessing it will be between Piglet and Black Swan.  I don't think the Chameleon is that great and he's probably some basketball star I've never heard of.

I do enjoy the costumes and the background dancers and Nick Cannon as host.  Robin is OK as a judge, and Ken has grown on me.  The two women are not likeable imo esp. Nicole.  But if the talent was better and more recognizable to me I'd be enjoying the show more than I am now.

@jellyBEAN  I could have actually written your post as it's exactly how I feel. I've been disappointed in this season.  We have watched it from the start but decided we won't watch after this season.  I could not believe that the rapping chameleon is still there and Hanson got voted off. Rapping to me is not singing, it's talking to music.  I also agree with the slow songs. I like more fast, upbeat songs. I also agree that it will be piglet and the black swan.  I really like piglet and love his costume.

I'll start next week. I don't care much for Niecey though, so will be very glad when Nick is back!

I think you will grow to really like Niecey-she's funny and kind to everyone-I grew to really enjoy her.

@LuvmyLab @World Traveler   Ditto.  Rap makes me push the mute button.

Re: The MASKED SINGER

[ Edited ]

The ONLY plus about rap on The Masked Singer is you get a better sense of the singers speaking voice. Woman Happy

I disagree with the poster who said being on this show would hurt a performers career. With some, it was something new to do. Especially when the world was closed down-that's what Paul Anka said last season. And for some, it's to reinvigorate their careers. It doesn't hurt them in the least!

Wayne Brady was always super busy. Now he's even busier- It seems he  hosts every game show! And Donny Osmond has his own  Las Vegas reisdency- just him (no Marie).

I think a lot of time this show is for singers that used to be popular and big money makers, and have now kind of "retired" and maybe are trying to do a comeback, or just having fun and trying something different....

Sometimes they are probably trying to revive their careers as well. This seems like a good show for that!

I guessed the Chameleon by body type and the way he walked and stood a few weeks ago.

When the Piglet sang last night I finally heard his distinctive voice and knew it was him.

I think this is the first time I have guessed 2 in the finals.

I had no idea who the Black swan was. It could have been anyone I had no guesses.

I am glad Piglet won...I always liked him.

ITA.  I don't think A-listers would do this show because they don't need the publicity.
