I liked the show much better before Jen and Bill had the children.   I certainly do  love children ,  but these 2 are too much !   I dont get why they have to interview the kids so often as they can't seem to sit still and just go on And on!  Yes children should be able to talk ,  unlike  when I was a child and the adults said children should be seen and not heard. This is mostly nonsense and adds nothing to the viewing of the show IMO

@Kitty Galore. Actually I don’t mind listening to the kids. I find Zoey very articulate and very smart.

I had their show on briefly last night and saw the little girl do the Indian dance. She did a great job. IMO Jen seems overwhelmed with her life yet she claims to be happy. So if she is good on her. She certainly has a lot going on. Especially for a little person. It's got to be stressful. I still find the kids too mouthy. They are certainly intelligent but never shut up and don't act very child like in many ways to me. Maybe it's the way they are being raised. Can't say I like it though I know the children are loved and well cared for. JMO.

I am still trying to figure out who does the discipline.  Jen has a very stressful and important job.  I am not sure what Bill does.  I know he owned a couple of pet stores.  Jen does seem overwhelmed and I am sure there are days that she just wants to go home and relax, it seems that Bill is hyper and probably never sits down.

Actually the kids really were pretty bratty at times.  Not all the time, but a lot of the time.  They seem to be a bit better this season, perhaps because they are getting older.

I am not sure why Zoe cannot sit still or at least sit in the chair the right way.

She was great at her performace though  I really think they should continue her dance classes. They did seem calmer when the parents left.  The nanny is good with them.  However in the kitchen those kids are a disaster.

Go visit your local elementary school.  You will see that most kids do not sit or stand still for long even if it is required.  They are on the move all of the time.  I wish I had their energy.

Well that means the teacher has no control of their classroom.  It is not normal for kids to sit upside down in their seats.  She may be ADHD.  But no one tells her to sit still or even sit in the chair the right way.  I am hoping this is just for the camera crew because maybe they think its cute.  I would hope in her classroom she is different.  She was totally focused when she was at dance practice.  Maybe its just who she can get away with it.  lol  Kids are smart they know who they walk over lol.

Never had that problem with my kids.  What are thy giving these children pixie sticks?!  Discipline starts at home ,   Children need bonderies as they will push you as far as they can if allowed .

@colliemom4  They act like normal kids to me. I knew many kids who talked constantly. I love for children to talk instead of sit around like a bump on a log.
I’m not sure but aren’t they around 8&9 years old? How should they act?

@proudlyfromNJ  It's not that I think they should sit there like a bump on a log. I feel they are given too much freedom over all and an 8 or 9 year old doesn't always know what they are talking about or need. When they are speaking so often it isn't always cute.

@colliemom4.  I never had a problem not knowing what they are talking about. But we all see things differently. I’m sure you brought up your children the way you knew or thought best as I think most parents do.

I think part of the issue is that the parents are always laughing at their antics.  Sure, kids are going to show off.  If the behavior is ignored, and they don't get the attention they want, they usually stop doing it.  But when their parents provide constant reinforcement by giggling, they will never stop.

When I went to school, everyone learned to sit still and even stand without moving.  It was mandatory.  We adapted.

Things have changed since then.  Kids are not expected to be still anymore.  I have been in classrooms where children are sitting in bean bag chairs, laying across or sitting on those yoga exercise balls and even lying on the floor.  They take their shoes off too.

They are allowed and encouraged to do this.

I don't agree that this is a good idea, but that's the way things are now, maybe not for everyone everywhere, but many of the newer teachers have adopted this style.

When waiting in the lunch line for their turn, they spin, jump and twirl.  At first is was shocking to me. Now I am used to seeing it.  Expectations have changed and it is now believed by some that we should not force younger children to control their movements.

@proudlyfromNJ  That's not what I mean. This is getting confusing. I will just drop it and say have a good day.
