Why do things always have to get so messy and ugly after someone passes on? Robin William's widow, his third wife, and his children are headed to court. She feels that the watches the children want aren't considered jewelry that were left to the children. For a man I certainly consider watches jewelry. He was married to the third wife for only three years. I think children should always come first over additional wives. I'm sure he must have left enough of an estate to satisfy everyone,

I just read and heard all about this. I think they should be allowed (as he has told them always) that they could have his personal items.

As a widow I can tell you (I was married for 38 years when my husband died), my daughters specifically wanted things of their Father's that specifically reminded him of them. I let them choose whatever they wanted (things like his wallet, driver's license, etc). He didn't wear any jewelry (except he had a gold wedding ring).

I don't understand why it is important to her except to sell it. I heard that it was his collections of watches she wanted to keep.

Lets be fair.... we have NO idea what is really going on.... only what a biased press reports.

All of these people are grieving.... who knows who was promised what? If a person doesn't write down who is supposed to get their personal belongings then anything can happen after that person dies.

I hope this can be resolved and all of them can find peace.
