Gone With the Wind

Casablanca (most Humphrey Bogart movies, especially the ones with Lauren Bacall.)

Gaslight. I wanted to smack Ingrid Bergman for being so stupid

Citizen Kane

Titanic 

Anything with Mel Gibson

Anything with Barbara Streisand, except for "Funny Girl"

Anthing directed by Martin Scorcese: too much profanity and the music is always too darn loud so it overwhelms the dialogue

Robert DiNiro's movies after "Goodfellas"

There are more but I can't think of them right now.

Gone With the Wind (enough has been said about that one)

Elf (incredibly tedious)

Any Clint Eastwood movie

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Pretty Woman

ANYTHING that is a disaster movie if any kind.  I can't get what I saw out of my mind.

I also won't watch the shows where the entire hour is someone being held hostage.

Those who thought Midnight Cowboy and Nashville were great movies need to tell me why. They came up on some top 100 list so I decided DH and I should watch some of the all time great movies. What a joke.

Hey, I can't stand movies in which someone is held hostage either, @ECBG !  Thanks for thinking up a whole genre of "dislikableness"....

Conversely, almost any movie in which the protagonist has amnesia, and is "searching for their past or "their identity",  I tend to love!

The all time schmaltz leader.  The Sound of Music.  If it gets anywhere near me on the TV......it's gone.
