Vanna is doing fine. She's not trying to be something she's not. No one could replace Pat.

VANNA must be hoping she doesnt lose her job as the letters just pop up
not needing anyone to stand there looking pretty.

After 37 years I think Vanna has some job security. I do miss Pat's wit. Yes, Vanna is nervous and a little stiff, but I think if she did it for any length of time she'd ease into it, but fortunately she doesn't have to worry about that.
I keep hoping I'll be a Secret Santa winner but so far no luck. I wonder what the odds of winning are. Probably pretty slim. I'm happy for those home viewers who DO win. How nice!!

@game-on .......your age comment is moronic.

Vanna is terrible ! Best if she keeps the job where she doesn't have to open her mouth.
She has no "relationship " with the contestants, is very stiff and unnatural.......I mute the sound when she is on and CANNOT wait for Pat to return..

@deepwaterdotter I"m not sure. I don't remember Chuck Woolery hosting WOF.
I do remember Roseanne had one in one of the episodes on her original show.
@deepwaterdotter- Yes, Chuck Woolery was the original host of Wheel of Fortune.

It would have been fun if they'd asked Chuck Woolery to fill-in during Pat's absence.

But there would have been a huge uproar about needing a man to host v s Vanna.
She can't win in this situation.
The difference in her from Monday to Friday was very clear. She is getting into the flow of the show and interacting with the contestants more. There are a lot of moving parts to the show and if a contestant is one letter off, they lose. She is being careful in reading the cards to be sure.
Pat posted on Twitter that she has one more week, then he is back for two and then Vanna does one more week and then he's host for all eternity.
I bet ratings are way up, mostly to see if she fails.
