I think he's brilliant, and he seems to be quite humble and very personable. ♥
Yes, he always applauded the other contestants. Nice guy and a good sport.

I really like him ... and think he'll be breaking more Jeopardy records before this is all over.
Does anyone recall what his educational background is? Whatever it is, he's very well-rounded for his age!
Now, I can't even remember what he does for a living.

I think they said that he's a "Researcher" (?)
But I also think he was ready to throw in the towel, because there's NO way he didn't know the answer to that Final Jeopardy question last night.
I've read that after several weeks, some of the contestants get "homesick," and (despite the fame and fortune) are ready to get back to their normal lives. ![]()
Either way, we shall see him again in one of the Tournaments. ![]()

They record five shows a day. After a few days I suspect it becomes mentally exhausting.

They take a meal break between the Wednesday and Thursday tapings. There was a comedian who used to say that if a champ underperforms in the Thursday episode, maybe he or she had a bad lunch?!

I missed Harrison's last show!
I record all Jeopardy shows, so I'm not sure how I missed it.
The new champ that started today is very good.

@AuntG wrote:Pretty good, compared to friends that won't even watch the show. We generally get between 22 and 28 right, with the disclaimer that my husband is very lenient with his judging. If the answer is Harold Hill, and I say the "Music Man guy", he lets me have it. Also, we score a point in Final Jeopardy if our wrong answer matched the wrong answer of a contestant.
@AuntG Ohhhh, that's sorta how we play, too.
Love it when all 3 contestants answer wrong and I get it.
Another thing I do, as the categories are announced initially, if it's say, Russian History, I blurt out Catherine the Great (an example). So I get no points, but it's kinda gratifying....when one of the replies is Catherine the Great.
Also, I like to correctly guess the amount a contestant will wager for a Jeopardy/Double Jeopardy.....
It's a fun game. We record it and we're behind big time. Allegra is still in the running.....
