Happy May!
It's a "Sweeps" Month.
All are welcome.
*********************************************************
It has been one year since Oscar died.
Here's a recap of some of the things that happened in May of last year.
After several months of declining health with none of the available treatments able to reverse/halt Oscar's brain cancer, he died. He was escorted by Lila and Edward, his paternal great-grandparents.
As a favor, Willow agreed to accompany Michael to the safe house where Jason had stashed Kristina after rescuing her. Willow spoke to Kristina and a few of her family members, Michael, Alexis, and Sonny about her experiences with Dawn of Day and Shiloh. Dr. Neil Byrne facilitated this session.
Peter's plans to take Maxie to Paris were aborted due to weather conditions. They took a detour to Canada where they were surprised to see Laura and Curtis who were hunting for the one-hand man, Ryan.
The Nurse's Ball was filled with its usual share of drama. Not many attendees but there was the expected mix of musical numbers - some surprisingly good and a few equally awful. This was one of the more memorable ones. It may not be memorable but it's good for a laugh or two: Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You
Some things have happened since the beginning of the April thread. They include:
GH halted taping of future episodes in March. In order to stretch out the episodes already taped, they came up with two ideas:
Send GH the definition of "classic".
Thank you to all who answered April's QOTM.
May Question of the Month:
This is a something we re-visit often because the answers change frequently.
This could be permanently or temporarily. If you have more than the specified number, include them all.
For those who don't want to answer the above, tell us what storyline you want to move or end during the month of May.
This is not an either/or, you can answer all questions.
To All, your contributions to the monthly thread are appreciated.
******************************************
For the second time I will end the thread's original post with the acknowledgement that we are going through some isolation and not as much physical contact as we might like. Do whatever you can to remain healthy and safe. If you feel lonely or need to vent, post so that someone can reply to you.

Hi,
I turn 65 on May 9th.
I have seen and experienced alot in all those years but nothing like what we are going thru now and hoping they learn from it so the younger generation never has to go thru it again!!!
Stay well and home and safe with your loved ones.

The characters I like to see leave are NELLE, Cyrus, Franco & Ava.
I get tired of them bringing everyone back. But I guess I would have to say Hayden for Violet's sake.
I don't look for much movement in stories until they start taping again. But I am ready to get rid of the Cyrus story.
Now Sonny's kitchen has been replaced by his new living room. We will see how long that will last.
These are my thoughts & do not care if anyone agrees with them.
Stay safe everyone. It has been lonely being stuck inside alone. But what bothers me most are the dark rainy days. I am ready for some sunshine.

OMG, a S/L to move along or end, talk about a loaded question. There are so many of the above that I may have to enter them in a separate post.
And @Tique Even if we may not always agree, THANK YOU for all you do for us on this thread. And, YES, you are funny.....sometimes.

I would like to see Nelle leave the show, but after Michael gets full custody!! I really don't like Valentin, despite his love for Charlotte. He just seems to have an unending depth of evil and grandiose ego in his marrow!!
As I stated in the last April thread, I am tired of all the predictable stories that never seem to end. Everything in life has a beginning, middle and ending!!
But not GH stories!!
And again, thanksTique for steering this GH boat for so many years....

Today, Thursday, so who out there wants to take bets that while Willow/Chase commiserate together and he gets her "something stronger" to drink, that they end up in a kiss and clutch? Any bets? Any takers?
