Re: General Hospital šŸ„ December 2025 - Spoilers Included

@BeckiWV Thank you for sharing the happy news that all went well with your surgery and you are on the mend.  Wonderful.  @Laura14 is spot on as well as others with whom I share the statement....anywhere but GH!  LOL

Regarding Curtis/Wu Wu:  Still don't think that Wu sent the "perfect person" to off Drew.  NO professional would have been that sloppy.  One shot to the back, he's down, the second is the kill shot to the head.

Curtis DOES know better than to answer questions without counsel present.  Jordan acting as his "defacto attorney".  Give me a break.

Portia:  When she grabbed Nina's arm in the ladies room and both went off camera, I said to myself "there's goes the pregnancy".  I though maybe Portia fell or whatever...guess not.

Who sent the note to Emma:  My guess is Britt.  I will say that with all the testing supposedly done, those dogs looked pretty active and healthy to me.  So now, just what will they do with all of the furry ones?  BTW, maybe I didn't see it correctly, was Outback at Sonny's when the dogs came in?  I thought Outback lives/resides with Cody at the stables.

With the other lab "busted" now, will Britt still be carrying on her research for Sidwell and the boss?

Yesterday...who's at the door, Laura?

Kev/Laur seemed a bit more close yesterday. But I still don't love that we have to see him so little involved, (like having to leave for a patient right before the spooky visiter came calling.) I'd still love to see her and Kev together more in her stories...it's so much more real for Laura.

@KBEANS Noooooo....I'm just not a fan of it being Scout.

I just don't want all that trauma for her. Don't want her coming back as the "therapized teen." Just me.

I don't know how we give her the better life, since Drewfus is still...well....Drewfus, and Willow is messed up too. I'd rather see those two go off to somewhere, and somehow she gets to go live with the Davis girls (oy vay, they're not all that stable either) and be with her brothers who might just be in trouble now too...yikes can NO ONE just be stable and happy. I clearly DON'T have the answers right now, but I don't want Scout to be the shooter.

I'm leaning toward a blacked out Willow, or split personality disorder Willow, or traumatized nutty Willow who can't recall she even did it. I thought I heard that the Willow actress is going off screen for a break soon, so that maybe she does get sent away. But I listen to so much lately, and don't know the sources for these rumors...so, šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļødunno.

I loved Sonny/Rocco and Sonny/Ric scenes yesterday.

I want Sonny/Ric to keep peace for a while or maybe for good. I realize even when fans hypothesize on Ric/Liz, we always gotta admit...can Ric EVER not be "scoundrel" Ric for good? I think not, because he'd be boring. So how does ole Ric get a girl, get a family, get some goodness in his life and still be a little "bad" sometiimes? ...anyway, I want Ric/Sonny for the forseeable future.

I like sage grandpa Sonny much better these days than mob Sonny. I like his home. I like that it's become the grandchild refuge. All that.

I think GH has evolved a bit this year, for all it's many drawbacks, limitations due to budget etc, weird thinking writers, dragged out storylines, dropped storylines that went nowhere, writers who NEVER seem to KNOW where their stories are going until they need to wrap them up...for all THAT....compared to when I watch the old eps from 5 years ago on Roku....I think its improved in these ways...

More legacy families, characters. I could almost say Period, The End. A little better interesting stories. Some heartwarming scenes. Ratings getters like Erika Slezak appearance. Monica's tribute done well. Whereas, other than my liking Jax being in those 2019 episodes...I just thought that era was so disconnected from GH roots in many ways, and writing was boring.

Ok rambly ramble. The End. For now....

@mysoutherncomfort    I don't know if Outback was at Sonnys or not, but he lives part time at the stables and the rest of the time at Lulus.  Perhaps we are to believe Rocco took him when he left.

Again it is obvious that the writers are making this all up as they go along.  So now Curtis didn't have Drew shot by Wuwu but someone else just happened to shoot Drew the same night that Curtis was planning to have him shot?  Likely, not.

Can we please just wrap this sad storyline up and finally find out who indeed did shoot Drew and why they did not kill him?

We know it's not Curtis now.  It is not Portia, Nina or Carly as they have alibis that we know are valid.  The only ones without valid alibis are Willow and Michael.

Re: General Hospital šŸ„ December 2025 - Spoilers Included

GH RECAP THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4th

Father Knows Best

Gio and Emma arrived at Sonny’s with multiple dogs they rescued from Professor Dalton’s off-campus lab, asking if they could keep the animals there until shelters opened the next morning. Donning his lawyer hat, Ric declared that a more pressing issue was that Rocco is facing felony charges, and Gio and Emma had now made him an accomplice in stealing property. Emma argued that they had liberated the animals, but Ric countered that it was larceny, breaking and entering, and conspiracy… and animal testing is generally not illegal, so they were in the wrong and not Dalton.

Things went from bad to worse when Dante entered the house and accused Gio of dragging Rocco into yet another crime. Rocco defended his brother, but Dante doubled down, calling Gio selfish for putting everyone in the room at risk. Jumping in, Sonny warned Dante to back off, telling him to be a father and not a cop, but Dante insisted that as acting police commissioner, he couldn’t turn a blind eye to the scene unfolding before him. Ric then mentioned the Good Samaritan law, and Emma and Gio claimed they heard the dogs crying as they were walking past a building, so they had rushed in to rescue the animals.

Next, alone with his father, Dante complained that Gio hadn’t learned from any of his past mistakes. Sonny noted that there wasn’t a crime under the Good Samaritan law, and the dogs needed help after Dalton skipped town. Still, Dante worried that the professor could come back at any time and claimed that Gio’s influence was tearing the family apart. Dante also filled Sonny in on the blow-out he’d had with Rocco after demanding that the teen stay away from Gio. Sonny reminded Dante that he had two sons who both needed their father and used their own relationship as an example of how Dante would eventually figure things out with his children.

Gio, Emma, Rocco, and Ric returned to the living room, and Gio wanted to know if any reports had been filed about the missing dogs. Dante replied that he hadn’t seen anything but could still bring Gio and Emma in on charges. Standing up for his brother, Rocco volunteered to go back home if Dante dropped the matter, and Dante silently agreed by grabbing his jacket and walking to the door. As Rocco said good-bye to everyone before leaving, Dante shared an intense look with Gio before exiting. ā€œRocco did that for you,ā€ Sonny told Gio, then turned his attention to Ric. ā€œThat’s what good brothers do.ā€

Amateur Sleuths

Kai took an upset Trina back to her apartment, where she thanked him for being supportive through her family’s drama. Kai felt it was a good sign that the police released Curtis, but Trina worried that the police must have had a good reason to bring her dad in on Thanksgiving. She sighed that she hated feeling helpless while her family unraveled, so Kai suggested that the two of them figure out who really shot Drew. Trina, however, didn’t want to rehash that night again because she was starting to think that one of her parents was responsible, theorizing that they’d been trying to protect her. Kai asked if either of her parents would let Willow or someone else take the fall for something they’d done. Confident that neither Portia nor Curtis would ever do that, Trina thanked Kai for helping to make her feel better and agreed to his suggestion that they clear her parents by finding the actual shooter.

Act of Contrition

At the Savoy, Curtis revealed to Jordan that he’d lied to Nathan: He’d actually spent that missing hour of time with Selina Wu, hiring her to kill Drew. After the way Jordan had defended him at the PCPD, Curtis said, he didn’t want to repay her good faith in him by lying, but Jordan was furious that he’d now made her an accomplice. While she didn’t deny that he had a motive for shooting Drew, Jordan added that she didn’t believe Curtis would murder Drew in cold blood or pay Selina to do it for him. When Curtis asked her how she was so sure, Jordan pointed out that he’d yet to mention that he’d gone through with the plan. Curtis then admitted that he never went through with it, not wanting a murder on his conscience. Plus, he added, if he were responsible and got caught, it would have destroyed his family. And now that he has another child on the way, he refused to let Drew Cain or Selina Wu or anyone else take that away from him.

There was still a chunk of time unaccounted for before Curtis met Jordan at the Brown Dog Bar, so Curtis explained that he’d returned to Aurora to cancel the wire transfer to Selina since it needed to be done on the same network. After Curtis shared that she was the only one he’d told, Jordan kissed him and stated that she believed him, and he had her support.

Siren Call

Over late-night pie with Kristina and Molly, Alexis recapped Drew and Willow’s wedding with her daughters, and they discussed her need to win Willow’s case in order to ensure that Drew didn’t keep Scout from them permanently. Alexis noted that the bright side of the mess was that Scout and Willow truly seemed fond of one another. Later, when Molly couldn’t find her phone, Kristina picked it up off the desk and teased her sister about a text from Cody, who wanted Molly to meet him at the Brown Dog. After getting a makeover from her sister, Molly headed to the bar.

A Friend In Need

Spinelli was at the Brown Dog Bar waiting for Jason when Britt walked in. At a booth, Spinelli updated Jason on the family’s Thanksgiving visit with a still-comatose Maxie, confiding how upset it makes him to see her in such a dire condition. While Georgie and James were clinging to hope that their mom would wake up one day, Spinelli disclosed that he couldn’t help but focus on the thought that Maxie might never wake up, or worse, deteriorate further, and they’d lose her. Jason advised his friend to focus on the outcome where Maxie wakes up, but Spinelli shared that he felt trapped in limbo.

Over at the bar, Cody caught up with Britt while Jason scowled at their flirty banter. When Britt asked him for tips on self-improvement, Cody joked that nothing topped her clean slate after coming back from the dead, and Britt mentally recalled her involvement in Sidwell’s murdering Dalton. Then, when Cody revealed he’d been stood up, Britt suggested they cheer each other up. He told her how heartbroken he’d been after nearly dating his cousin (aka Sasha), and when Cody caught Britt as she drunkenly stumbled, Jason seethed from across the room. Thanking Jason for being his sounding board, Spinelli prepared to leave — but not before telling his friend that he’d noticed how Jason’s attention kept drifting to Britt and Cody. Spinelli took off after telling Jason that he viewed Cody as a man of great character.

Double Dare

Meanwhile, Britt and Cody were looking for songs at the jukebox, and he flashed back to his slow dance with Molly. Then, Britt insisted that Cody dance with her, and he reluctantly agreed… just as Molly walked into the bar, all dolled up. When Britt moved in to kiss Cody, an upset Molly saw Cody with his lips pressed to Britt’s and stormed out before she saw him push the other woman off of him. Jason watched the whole exchange as Britt claimed she knew Cody was still attracted to her. Replying that he’d be a friend but there was someone else in the picture now, even if she hadn’t shown up, Cody excused himself.

Sauntering over to the bar, Britt ordered herself another drink, and Jason interrupted to tell the bartender to serve her water. When Britt snarked that she didn’t ask for his opinion on her drink order, Jason replied that he was there because she’d put on a show to get a reaction from him. Forcing out a laugh, Britt got in Jason’s face and dared him to kiss her himself if he had a problem with someone else doing so!

Bad Timing

Back at Casa Davis, Alexis told Kristina how happy she was that the girls had repaired their relationship after the rough year the family had had between the deaths of Sam and baby Irene. As they discussed how much they missed Sam, Alexis claimed that her eldest daughter would have been proud of the love and support Kristina showed her sister and mom. Later, Kristina and Alexis were watching TV when an angry Molly stomped in through the front door. When Kristina asked her sister if she’d seen Cody at the bar, Molly retorted, ā€œOh, he was there,ā€ and ran upstairs. Meanwhile, at a table at the Brown Dog, a sad Cody looked at the text he’d sent to Molly inviting her to meet him for a drink, which had been left on read.

Photo Finish

When Sidwell showed up at her apartment, Laura tried to shut the door in his face, but when he threatened to go to the police, she reluctantly let him in. Then, handing over a photo of the mayor looking at a dead Dalton in the trunk of her car, Sidwell asked Mayor Collins what her constituents would think of her killing the professor after their public argument. Laura insisted the photo was a fake generated by AI, but Sidwell reminded her that they both knew it was real and that law enforcement would be able to authenticate it as well. Asking if she was done bluffing, Sidwell wanted to get down to business, but Laura one-upped him by questioning where he’d stashed the murder weapon and informing Sidwell that she’d outlasted worse villains than him over the years. In response, Sidwell taunted Laura that he had proof she was a murderer. Pulling out a second photo that showed her and Sonny at her car, Sidwell noted that Sonny had a reputation for violence, and they both had the same motive to kill Dalton: their grandson, Rocco. Sidwell chuckled that it would have been enough for Laura to incriminate herself, but it was a gift that she incriminated Sonny as well

Next, Sidwell informed Laura that as long as she cooperated, no one would ever know what part she played in Dalton’s demise, insinuating that other evidence might come to light. Knowing her back was against the wall, Laura demanded to know what Sidwell’s terms were. While she continued to serve the city as mayor, Sidwell wanted Laura to work for him as well. As long as she played by his rules, he wouldn’t turn her into the police — but if she refused to play ball, Sidwell hinted that something tragic might happen to her. Then, there was a knock on the door, and Laura instructed Sidwell to ignore it. Insisting that would be rude, Sidwell opened the door to let Ezra Boyle in!

Learning that Ezra would be the middleman for Sidwell, Laura claimed it would raise suspicion for her to suddenly be working with Boyle. Sidwell suggested she could simply explain it away since politics often led to strange bedfellows, and asked Laura if they had a deal. Refusing to answer, Laura demanded that Sidwell and Ezra leave her apartment. Holding up the photo once again, Sidwell acknowledged that Laura had much to think about and was confident she’d realize that going along with it was the best situation for all of them. Then, Ace began crying over the baby monitor. Picking up the device, Sidwell reminded Laura how she’d once told him she could never be bought, and he’d replied that everyone had their price. Handing her the monitor, Sidwell claimed that he’d just found Laura’s price. With that, he and Ezra exited, leaving Laura in tears.

Very true @ninjawife   I'm still going for Willow in a blackout etc, but what IF the writers throw us a curve ball and have someone "reappear" out of the blue that wasn't on our radar?  Old person ressurected?  New person unknown to us?

Me, the big podcast listener here...

Today I was listening to "Soapy" with Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart (who I don't know)...and they had Cameron Mathison on.

And because of that I'm just here to say...I know fans are constantly ranting to send Drew packing, or kill him etc etc. I don't want CM to lose his job.

After listening to that...I know it's been known he lost his home, and got divorced in recent times. But that guy, has lost so much in recent times beyond that...a bout of cancer, his mom to brain cancer while she was helping him through his cancer journey, his dog, his kids going off to college, a dear friend with an addiction issue. Wow, LIFE can be ubbelievably cruel and tough. Any ONE of those things would be tough enough.

As "Zen" a guy as he is in real life, working on being a better version of himself from younger days and early days of success that had him chasing maybe the wrong things...he says the turn of Drew into BAD, has actually been fun, easy...and he attributes at least some of it being easy, since he's not that guy in real life...to timing with all the bad that's recently happened to him. Maybe cathartic, some anger within or upset.

Whatever, his journey....but just saying....he lost it all....I DON'T want to see him lose this job now!

Stepping off the soapbox now. Smiley Happy āœŒļø
