GH RECAP MONDAY, DECEMBER 1st
As Chase prepared Thanksgiving dinner, Brook Lynn readied the fire extinguisher. When the doorbell rang, she headed to the foyer, where Olivia was with Leo. Complaining about a car honking outside, Olivia threw open the door and was shocked to see Michael standing there with Ned. Home from the hospital earlier than he was scheduled to be released, Ned had orchestrated the surprise with Brook Lynn’s help. Then, the smoke detector went off, so Olivia, Leo, and Michael went to the kitchen, and Brook Lynn took her dad into the living room. Ned confided that, during his illness, he’d wondered if he’d ever see the family home again, and it was strange to now think of the mansion as Tracy’s house (and not Monica’s). He also joked about how his heart attack brought Brook Lynn and Gio closer together. When the doorbell then rang, it was Brook Lynn’s turn to get a surprise when she opened it to Gio and Emma on the other side.
After Gio and Emma welcomed Ned home, Olivia, Michael, and Leo entered the living room. Olivia reported that the smoke detector had been a false alarm, and Chase was on track with dinner. Next, the family discussed Ned’s wish to keep his mother in the dark about his heart attack since Tracy was still out of the country at a spa. Olivia commented that the longer Tracy was gone, the longer they could put off telling her that Drew stole the family heirlooms. Then, Ned flashed back to the argument he’d had with Drew moments before his heart attack, when he’d threatened to sue his nephew before falling to the ground. Back in the present, Ned agreed that the last thing the family wanted was another battle with Drew.
Emerging from the kitchen, Chase was the next person to welcome Ned back home and took some jabs from the family about his attempt to break the Quartermaine curse. To Olivia’s dismay, Leo declared he was now a vegetarian and wasn’t having any turkey — or her meatballs, chicken parm, or fish — but Chase revealed that he’d roasted a tofurkey, too. Then, Chase announced that dinner was set out, and Leo wondered what Outback was going to eat since the dog looked hungry when he’d let her inside. Just then, the puppy jumped up to the table, but Michael got to her before she managed to eat anything.
With a full feast on the table, Chase invited the family to start eating, but Brook Lynn felt they’d tempted fate too far already. She and Olivia gave a rundown of all the years Thanksgiving dinner had been ruined, even after it was cooked and served. Brook Lynn suggested they instead donate the meal to someone in need, and Olivia knew just where to bring the food.
Isaiah wasn’t on the schedule to work, but surprised Portia by volunteering for a shift at the hospital. They went to the break room, where he revealed to her that he was working because he hadn’t wanted her to spend the holiday alone, and they snacked on granola bars. Isaiah and Portia returned to the hub when Brook Lynn, Chase, Olivia, Leo, Michael, and Emma showed up with a full Thanksgiving meal for the staff to enjoy. After Olivia expressed her gratitude for the doctors having saved Ned’s life, Portia replied that Dr. Quartermaine had always made sure the staff was cared for on Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful to see Monica’s family carrying on that tradition.
Once the Qs were done setting up the food in the conference room, Michael remembered that Willow and Drew’s wedding was taking place that day and told Brook Lynn and Chase that he’d meet them back at the house. Meanwhile, Isaiah and Portia returned to the break room, where they continued a private Thanksgiving celebration with pie and passionate kisses.
While the others delivered the food to the hospital, Gio stayed back at the house with Ned. He shared that he’d had a breakthrough with Brook Lynn, having finally realized the sacrifices his mother had made to make sure he had a good life. When Ned revealed that his wish was for his grandson to have a good relationship with both of his parents, Gio hesitated before responding that he and Brook Lynn were on their way, but he doubted he’d ever get there with Dante. Ned advised Gio to stay open to the possibility of a relationship with his father, not wanting his grandson to have any regrets later in life. Then, Gio answered the door when the bell rang and was stunned to see who was outside.
Upon returning from the hospital with Leo, Emma, Chase, and Brook Lynn, Olivia announced she’d defrost a casserole for dinner. Instead, Gio ushered them into the living room where Ned was waiting with a stack of pizzas. Having waited to read the card until the rest of them got back, Gio handed a note to Brook Lynn. The family was touched to discover that the pizzas were from Tracy, who had ordered them ahead of time. Holding hands, Ned led the family in their annual tradition of singing “We Gather Together.”
As she fiddled with wedding flowers, Willow appeared uncomfortable when Drew happily predicted the day was going to be perfect. The groom’s good mood soured when Alexis arrived to be there for Scout, and she made a sarcastic comment about looking forward to seeing Scout in her flower girl dress again. Once Willow left the room to tend to her stepdaughter, Drew cautioned Alexis to do a better job of pretending to be happy so she could convince Scout she supported the marriage. Next, Drew got an update from Kai on the caterers and guest arrivals, but his intern couldn’t stick around for the wedding since he had Thanksgiving plans. Nina arrived as Kai was leaving, carrying a designer dress from the Crimson closet for the bride. Informing Drew that she’d decided to be supportive of Willow’s decision to marry him, Nina warned him not to waste the second chance he was being given.
Alexis answered the door when Elizabeth arrived, and they grumbled about Drew hijacking Thanksgiving to have a wedding. Even though she’d rather be home with Molly and Kristina, Alexis noted, they’d all agreed it was important for her to show her love and support for Scout. Later, Alexis sat down with Scout, who wanted to know if she’d be able to see her family more after her father married Willow. Avoiding a direct answer, Alexis told her granddaughter that the wedding meant their family was growing, and there were more people to love her.
In the bedroom, Willow helped Scout get ready, and they discussed their future as a family. The little girl hoped Willow and her dad would be happy, and Willow promised that they would be. Then, the bride-to-be shared how similar Scout was to her mom, Sam, and said that she hoped Scout would be happy, too. When Nina entered the bedroom, a standoffish Willow thanked her for taking care of the dress, and her mother was disappointed that Elizabeth was going to help her get ready. Despite her promise not to interfere, Nina asked Willow if she really wanted to go through with the wedding and offered to help her leave, no strings attached.
Upset after her conversation with Willow, Nina returned to the empty living room just as Nathan arrived. Sharing Willow’s strategy to marry Drew to get her kids back, Nina told her brother that instead of being relieved, she felt it made things worse. Nathan then got a text message about work and had to take off, but advised his sister to have faith in Willow before leaving.
Back in the bedroom, Willow was staring at a photo of her with Wiley and Amelia when Elizabeth entered to help her get dressed. Then, as Drew, Martin, Nina, and Alexis waited in the living room, flower girl Scout began her walk to her dad. Maid of honor Elizabeth followed, then the bride entered. Walking down the aisle, Willow gave a small nod to her mother before joining Drew and Martin at the fireplace. Then, as Willow and Drew joined hands, Michael peered in through the window from outside the house.
On a break from his music tour, Marshall came home to spend Thanksgiving with his family and learned all about the smackdown Stella had given to Drew the day before. Trina commented that she was glad her dad had kept his cool during the confrontation, and Curtis pointed out that Drew Cain wasn’t worth jeopardizing his life for. Stella chuckled that letting Congressman Cutthroat live out the miserable life he’s created for himself was all the revenge Drew needed.
Later, Kai arrived, but Trina’s happiness at seeing her boyfriend was short-lived when Jordan knocked on the door right afterwards. As Trina gave her a frosty glare, Jordan revealed she was on her way to have dinner with Jenz Sidwell and had only stopped by to drop off a side dish. Since TJ was out of town, Marshall and Curtis tried to convince Jordan to stay for dinner, but she declined. Chasing after her as she exited, Curtis asked Jordan not to leave. She revealed that even though Stella had invited her, Trina’s reaction made her realize it was too soon for her to be around the family. Agreeing to give their relationship some time, Curtis noted that he was glad he at least got to see her, and Jordan acknowledged they both had much to be thankful for.
Meanwhile, the others were bringing the food to the table when Trina overheard Stella and Marshall talking about Portia’s pregnancy and dropped a platter. Rushing outside, Trina saw her dad and Jordan kissing. But before Curtis could explain himself, Nathan arrived with a uniformed police officer. He informed Curtis that he was being brought to the PCPD under investigation for the attempted murder of Drew Cain.

OK my little chick-a-dees: Has the Q Thanksgiving Day "curse" now been broken by Chase? BTW, all those people were suppose to sit down at the small, round kitchen table? But I digress, nice touch to deliver the food to GH staff (like Monica did) and delightful that Tracy ordered pizza delivered while in Europe.
BTW, Ned looks very well after his massive coronary. I was expecting Gio to refer to him as "grandpa" as he did when he started CPR.
Ahhh Sooo Ned remembers that Drew left him outside Bobbie's to "die". What will the writers do with that tidbit? Of course, it was just the two of them.
Willow: Will do anything to clear her name and regain her children, even marrying someone she doesn't love. Did y'all catch her face as she was looking at the pix of Wiley and Amelia when Elizabeth came in and asked if she was ready to get married? Her face told me...she remembers and/or her subconscience remembers "who shot Drew"....I'm still going with her...whether knowingly or in a "blackout" state of mind.
Speaking of Wiley/Amelia: Shouldn't they be at the Q's with their dad, Michael, and the rest of the family? Just sayin'.........
Curtis being called in for questioning at the PCPD...really, right now on Thanksgiving Day. Like was he going somewhere?
Trina: Let's all get our beverages and olives ready for the "mom is preganant....." angst and Jordan is going after my dad. The real angst will come when she finds out her mom was ahem, otherwise engaged in a horizontal tango with another man.

@mysoutherncomfort It's the little things that take someone down. At this point, I'd be happy to see Drew busted over jaywalking. I am going to guess a Good Samaritan law is out in PC and they don't have video cameras outside businesses yet.
Besides, Tracy did the leave him to die better than anyone ever will. 🍸🍸🍸

@Laura14 I was thinking the same thing. Doesn't Bobbie's have a camera? I was hoping that would be the downfall of Drew. Just post the video on social media.

GH RECAP TUESDAY, DECEMBER 2nd
As Michael lurked outside the house, Drew and Willow’s wedding ceremony began, with Martin officiating and Alexis, Scout, Elizabeth, and Nina as the guests. When Martin wanted to skip ahead to the vows, Drew declared that nothing was going to stop him from making Willow his wife. Michael walked away before Drew said his vows. Then, when it was Willow’s turn, the bride flashed back to her earlier conversation with Nina, when her mother had asked if she really wanted to go through with the marriage. As the guests anxiously looked on, Willow paused before finally saying, “I do.” After Drew and Willow exchanged rings, Martin pronounced them husband and wife, and Nina and Alexis turned their heads in disgust as the couple shared a kiss.
After congratulating her father, Scout pulled Drew into the other room to reveal a surprise she had for him. Meanwhile, Willow told Nina that she’d accomplished her mission by going through with the ceremony, and Nina offered her full support in getting Wiley and Amelia back. The bride then thanked Elizabeth for standing by her side. Liz remarked that she hoped the marriage would bring Willow everything she wanted, and Willow declared that she knew it would. Martin told Alexis it was good of her to attend, and she clarified she’d only done so to support Scout. She complained about how the marriage and Willow’s decisions are making her job harder, and she needed to win the case, or else Drew would never let her see her granddaughter again. Her plan was to convince the jury that someone else was more willing to shoot Drew than Willow was. After Scout caught the bouquet that Willow tossed, Alexis took the girl back to the Davis house for a sleepover.
Once their guests had all gone, Willow asked Drew what Scout’s surprise had been, and he showed her a drawing of the three of them. Drew promised that the picture would soon have five people in it, once they got Wiley and Amelia home, and kissed his bride.
Gio stuck around to help Brook Lynn clean up after the Qs had their Thanksgiving pizza. Brook Lynn was touched when her son confided he hoped to get an invite back next year because he’d enjoyed spending the holiday with her. As she fumbled through trying to make small talk, Brook Lynn divulged that she was nervous about screwing things up with him, especially since their talk at the hospital had meant so much to her. Gio promised that even if things got messy between them, they were family, and it would all work out since he was done pushing her away. Next, Brook Lynn asked Gio about the break-in at the lab. When he huffed that she should speak with Dante, she insisted she wanted to hear his take on the situation.
Gio explained how he and Emma had forgotten about their plan to break into the lab after Ned had a heart attack. He regretted even having the other kids involved in stealing the key fob in the first place, since they are all underage and he’d asked them to get involved in something illegal. Brook Lynn praised her son for taking responsibility and explained that when Dante gets scared, it comes out as anger. Gio replied that he accepted Dante’s right to be angry, but he had no obligation to take it. Brook Lynn maintained that Dante wanted to have a relationship with his son, but Gio wasn’t so sure that was possible. Their conversation was interrupted when Emma ran into the kitchen, looking for Gio. After Brook Lynn exited, Emma showed her boyfriend a note she’d found under her door when she’d arrived home. Listed was an address three blocks away from the Brown Dog Bar, which Emma declared was Dalton’s off-campus lab. Gio smiled when his girlfriend suggested they rescue the dogs that night.
Curtis was shocked when Nathan arrived at his home, wanting to bring him down to the station on Thanksgiving to question him about the night of Drew’s shooting. As Jordan and Trina looked on, Curtis asked if he was under arrest. When Nathan revealed he wasn’t there to arrest Curtis, Curtis refused to go to the station, not wanting to leave his family on the holiday. Trina angrily got in Nathan’s face, declaring the police had no right to take her father away from his home. Curtis urged his daughter to go inside and make sure Aunt Stella didn’t come out. Then, Jordan wanted to know why Curtis was wanted for questioning since Willow was the primary suspect, and Nathan revealed that new evidence had come to light. Reluctantly, Curtis agreed to meet Nathan at the station after he told his family what was happening.
Inside the house, Kai calmed Trina down as she freaked out that the police had taken Curtis in for questioning. She scoffed when Stella said it was a good thing Jordan went with Curtis, claiming Jordan would use the situation to get her hooks into him. Since she thought Jordan and Curtis had been over for years, Stella was stunned when Trina and Marshall each revealed that the woman was partly to blame for Curtis and Portia’s split. When Stella wanted to know if Curtis and Jordan were having an affair, Trina insisted her dad would never cheat on her mom, but Jordan swooped in at the first sign of trouble. Upset that Marshall knew and hadn’t said anything to her, Stella implied she wouldn’t have invited Jordan to Thanksgiving. Then, Trina pointed out that it sucked to find out your family is keeping secrets, like how everyone knew except for her that her mother was pregnant.
Kai accompanied Trina outside when she needed to get some fresh air, and Stella and Marshall argued over whether they should interfere in Curtis’s life. Stella thought her sister would be disappointed in Curtis for walking away from his child, but Marshall felt Irene would have told her to leave it alone. Outside, Trina confided to Kai that she’d been so scared her mother might have been the one to shoot Drew, but was now worried her father was guilty.
Laura was on the phone with Lucky when there was a knock at her door. It was Kevin on the other side, home from Ireland a week earlier. Picking up on his wife’s nervous energy, Kevin first assumed his wife was tired after a grueling reelection campaign. When he pressed her to share what was bothering her, Laura flashed back to finding Prof. Dalton in the trunk of her car, but Lulu knocked on the door before she could come clean with her husband. Kevin asked Lulu how Rocco was holding up, and Laura grew uncomfortable when he wondered if they had any idea where Dalton was and announced it was past Ace’s bedtime. While Lulu took her nephew upstairs to put him to bed, Kevin commented to his wife that it was odd the professor had just disappeared and wondered if he was gone for good. Then, Lulu came back downstairs after tucking Ace in and said good-bye to her mother and stepfather. Once they were alone again, Laura confessed to her husband that she’d found Dalton’s dead body in the trunk of her car.
After leaving Drew’s house, Michael headed to the Brown Dog, where he ran into Jacinda at the bar. She was curious why he wasn’t with his family since it was Thanksgiving night, and Michael revealed that he had been earlier, but he’d then gone to see if Willow was really going to go through with the wedding. They moved to a table, where Michael divulged that he needed to see Willow marry Drew in order to believe it after the way his ex had chosen Drew time and time again, despite his manipulations and lies. More convinced than ever that he’d been making the right calls regarding the kids, Michael shared that he didn’t want to go home and tell Wiley and Amelia that Willow had gotten married. Calling Drew a spiteful, vindictive bully who reminded her of a stepfather who never made her a priority, Jacinda assured Michael he was doing the best thing for his kids. Then, Michael revealed that he wished they’d met under different circumstances, so Jacinda would believe that he wanted to be with her because he liked her for the woman she is, not only because she was his alibi. Leaning over to kiss Michael, Jacinda shared that she believed him. She then invited him back to her apartment, where they made love.
Once at the station, Curtis had trouble getting in touch with another attorney since Alexis couldn’t represent him as she was already Willow’s counsel. Jordan wondered if he knew what evidence the PCPD now had, but Curtis replied that he just wanted to answer the questions and return home. Then, Curtis demanded that Jordan sit in as a witness during his questioning and told Nathan to refer to the statement he’d previously made about the night of Drew’s shooting. Instead, Nathan pressed to hear Curtis’s whereabouts from Curtis himself. After restating his actions that night and establishing that he didn’t think he’d need an alibi for the time he was alone doing paperwork at The Savoy, Curtis asked what the PCPD’s new evidence was. Nathan explained that they’d gained access to the records of Red Shell Security, which handles the club’s alarm systems, and there was an hour gap between when Curtis reactivated the alarm when he left the building and when he supposedly met Jordan.
Next, Curtis said he got to the Brown Dog before Jordan, and Jordan asked if the PCPD actually had evidence that Curtis was the shooter. Acknowledging that they did not, Nathan pointed out that, as an ex-cop, Curtis knew how to cover his tracks, and his previous statement didn’t include that he’d arrived at the bar first. When Curtis replied he hadn’t thought that was relevant, Nathan offered him the opportunity to amend his statement and asked if anything else had happened that he hadn’t mentioned. Then, Curtis flashed back to a meeting with Selina Wu before telling Nathan he stood by his statement. When Jordan argued that the PCPD was grasping at straws, Nathan suggested that the lack of evidence implied Drew’s shooting was a professional job. Curtis again flashed back to his conversation with Selina, this time remembering that he’d offered her $1 million to kill Drew Cain that night!

Well, well, well. Mrs Wu is back. Someone on this board guessed her right from the start....good work. Not me, I thought it would be Willoiw.
One other thing, that clinic in Germany performs miracles. Michael doesn't have one scar anywhere on his body.
