why can't website synch with live tv?

I shop both QVC and Evine.com. Evine, a much smaller company, can manage to have it's front page website synch with whatever's on air at that time, live, and what's just been shown. Qvc only seems to synch with several hours earlier. If I'm going to order something I have to write it down or try to remember while running to computer, whereas it's no problem on evine. What's up with that?

My live feed is on a 5-second or so delay. So I am basically seeing the same presentation as on my TV but just a few seconds behind. The video link on the page for the product on air is, however, an earlier recorded presentation. I hope I understood your question correctly...

There is a lot to sync.  Do they sync with the east coast, west coast or midwest?  What about when daylight savings starts and stops?  It's not an easy thing to do.
