Can Vendors Answer Questions Posted on Item Page?

From time to time, I see questions on an item page that have gone unanswered for a while. Today I saw one asking about dimensions of a handbag. I do know some vendors are great about posting answers. It seems to me that ALL of them could take the time to check, or have someone else check, the questions customers post on a page and answer them. They are the experts, and they could clear up a lot of confusion. It does help when customers who have already received the item can answer the questions, but I still think vendors or their representatives should check their product pages for them!

Good idea @beach-mom.  Sometimes the questions are too technical for a fellow customer to answer.

If the vendor has a Facebook page, you can always try answering the question there, and probably have a better chance of it being answered there, rather than here.

Re: Can Vendors Answer Questions Posted on Item Page?

@beach-mom,  I've seen answers on the QVC item pages provided by Duraflame and WEN, among others.

Some vendors must assign staff to periodically check their products being carried by QVC.  Others don't.

A lot of people don't 'do' Facebook, including me. I appreciate vendors who answer questions about their items right on the QVC site.

If there is a section for questions and answers, they should be monitored.  If the vendor doesn't care to do that for whatever reason, the section should be closed for comments.
