QVC use to routinely give the garment measurements during a presentation,  Often there was a graphic posted on the screen.  The hosts would make a distinction between garment measurements and body measurements.

What is it with Graver's sizing: she had ponte pants today with a size 2 with a 37" hip. I ordered two pair of her pants and got a 36" hip with a 30" waist. Kept them to take to the tailors, and they're still in my closet unworn. I think they get them from China, measure what they get and then size accordingly. No control....
