All right "Q"  here is a challenge for you. I'm technologically behind the times but I bet there is a softwhere program that could be added using a body type avatar in order to view clothes on a model similar to oneself.  As a large company with buying/marketing clout I would be willing to bet it's available and may help your sales and redude returns.

Re: model avatar

There was. Several years back there was an app that did this and a small number of sites used it. Land's End was one of them. It was not very good and not very helpful. It didn't expand to any other sites and then disappeared.

A company called Fitle is working on an app that will you create a 3D model of yourself and try on clothing, but I suspect it's going to be harder than they think. I've been playing video games for years and the developers always have a hard time with customizing avatars because people like to stretch them and make them all sorts of shapes and sizes and making the clothes fit around those customized shapes is as hard to do in the digital world as it is in the real world. It could make the clothes look worse and deform shapes and patterns. That wouldn't help anyone sell clothes.

I remember when Land's End (or maybe it was another company) had that Avatar.  It really wasn't helpful at all.  It seems like it was difficult to use, too.
