I think the hosts that sport the shadows so dark that their eyes completely disappear LIKE that look. They've been wearing it for a long time and they aren't about to change, even if the makeup artists suggest it or try. They won't change.

I'd like the hosts to say what make up line(s) that they're wearing and what clothing brand, even if it's not a fashion or make up show.
Most women use so many different things from various make up lines so it would take forever to list them all .... LG serum, Clinique foundation, Mally mascara, Guerlain blush, etc etc ..... and the same with fashion.
If you see a jacket, for instance, that you like, call CS while the host is onscreen and they can usually tell you if it's a QVC item or the host's own garment.
Tink makes an excellent point. Also, I don't care as much about what LINE a product comes from, I want the color or exact item. Some companies make hundreds of lipsticks, blushes, foundations, etc and knowing it's a MAC or YSL lipstick or blush won't help me if I don't know which color it was.
And if you've ever visited a makeup blog, you'll know those lists gets really long. I once saw a video for a "natural" makeup look that used something like 15 different products to achieve and most of them were from different brands.
HSN lists all the products the host is wearing from make-up to clothing, if they are HSN items.
It's always listed on-line with the items recently aired and it also often streams across the bottom of the screen during that host's time on air.
They list the brand and the color of make-up and the clothing and item numbers for them.
QVC's CS does not ever know what a host is wearing, whether it's a QVC item or not. Back in the day, the hosts used to tell CS reps what they were wearing before going on air, it if was a Q item. Now with social media, they don't bother.
If you call CS, they will either say they don't know or it's the hosts' own item even if it's a QVC item.

I've noticed this, but the highlighter looks worse, IMO. Sometimes too much under eye concealer, too. Yet, while wearing all this they a pushing "the no make-up make-up look trend" & aren't doing it themselves. I thought the smokey eye was going out?

I have seen pictures of Shawn on Facebook and on her blogs without make-up and she looks BEAUTIFUL! She looks ten years younger without make-up. IMHO, she's way overdone while hosting to the point that it borders on distracting.

I think with HD TV, it's scared them and they've gone overboard with makeup. They've gone too far with contouring and highlighting. The highlighting and illuminating is looking clownish. You can do that in your 20's and 30's, but beyond, not so much.
I notice when one of the vendors does a host's makeup, they look much better. Either the hosts or the makeup person has a heavy hand.

They still need some practice. The makeup tonight was a bit comical. If they are going to use white around the eyes, it should be blended with a brush or maybe they just don't know how.
Also, some had too much and not blended and some not enough makeup on and looked pale (some models). Some models look great all the time and not so much the others.
