@on the bay wrote:Why does anyone get so upset over other people's opinions or comments about any kind of shopping?
@on the bay I agree with you on that. However, I concider an opinion to be , " qvc's prices are too high for me, I don't care for the shipping and return charges. The clothes are not my style or fit. I shop, elsewhere". But there were posts in this thread, that stated basically , qvc shoppers had to be addicted, home bound , and were not prudent to pay the high prices at QVC. It went on. That is posters opinion in a way, but it it is also attacking others, and not constructive. It's more angry and hateful. But, they must of been mad and had a bad day. That , I have had as well.

I can't find what I want at either dept. stores, or discount stores when it comes to clothing.
I want 100% cotton, or gauze or linen for my clothing.
I can't find anything in the size range, color range or style selection I want out in brick and mortar.
Q online allows me to browse and find EXACTLY what I want in the style, size and color I want.
Dept. stores and discount stores give me few to zero options when it comes to the kind of clothing I like.
Most of my clothing is from the Q.
LOGO, D&Co, Nicole Miller, Kim Gravel, and a few Graver pieces done in natural fabrics.
I have NO LUCK when it comes to brick and mortar shopping. I find the racks picked over heavily, the stores dirty and the amount of time it takes to find one decent item of clothing is not worth my time.
If Q went out of business, I still have a closet full of clothes from them that I love.... and some of the D&Co. items have lasted me DECADES.

That is an interesting question.
That is what attracted me to QVC in the first place-the live viewing with real people. It's what makes QVC (and HSN) different and unique. Even if some don't watch the live shows, there are the live videos. I think eventually it would affect sales if that all went away.
I read a comment about the Cracker Barrel logo just now. It said the first rule of marketing is not to alienate your longtime loyal customers while trying to attract new customers.

Easy; no!

I've ordered a really good % of 'As Is', Clearance and other great deals over the past 21 years to well than make up for some of the higher priced items I've ordered.
So, QVC is still my fave place to shop online. ![]()

I think it's more enjoyable and easier to price shop online.
I don't buy much from Q because I can find everything I want elsewhere for lower prices, with real promo codes, and with free shipping/returns. I can't remember the last time I paid shipping or return fees.

What are "better" prices?
I do not understand this conversation.
It means to me -- I can find everything I want for lower prices elsewhere. I always price shop. It's very rare that Q has a lower price than other retailers.

@RetRN wrote:I understand your complaints and believe they are legitimate. But, many people are unable to get out to shop or do not have the availability of the items in their area. The population is aging and many people have mobility issues or issues with transportation so QVC is a need for them.
@RetRN ...... You may have been correct years ago. But now there are thousands of online vendors, many that offer the same items as QVC for less and no shipping charges. No need to order from QVC in order to have items delivered to your door.

I do this all the time with other retailers. I can shop in relative peace without all the antics and useless talk.
I don't buy a lot from Q because Ican find everything I want elsewhere with real promo codes, made of fabrics I prefer, and for lower prices, free shipping and free returns.
