Re: Why order from QVC anymore?

personally I think people do what works for them.  We all lead different lives .  Some may not be able to get out, some use QVC credit, or easy pay as their shopping tool, some are Lon,ey and like to watch, some just love to shop. And don't forget those who just love QVC,and do fond things they love, need.

as for cost, that is a regional thing I think. I don't see any of the prices higher than any other shopping venue. QVC doesn't offer the free ship and return like most companies, and they don't have blow out sales, coupons, rewards, like many places. But they never were. They offer a product at a comsistant price pretty much, they have easy, returns if needed, and if you have a problem, they help more than most.  i think in some parts of the US things don't cost as as much. I'm from California, so I think as far as cost goes....I'm used to it lol.

started with the q in 1987, and I hade moved to a small town with limited shopping the q was a God send until about 2003, and I quit. For me it was a vendor host issue,  I didn't complain, berate host or vender, just left watching tv. I use online QVC when I need it. But since I buy clothes only from USA, I don't shop here.  But I do like the food, and find things here and there.  I love the forums and the company.

folks should shop where they like

is there some value in trying to dissuade folks from shopping here at q?

Re: Why order from QVC anymore?

Yeah why
Why do people pay these exorbitant prices for no nothing quality and self fulfilled brands?

It’s easy?
They’re bored?
They’re hoarders or shop a phonics who don’t have to leave their houses?

It’s definitely seems like a club an addiction or a wacky way to waste money

Re: Why order from QVC anymore?

why do people want to dictate how others spend their money?

People want to dictate how others spend their money for a variety of psychological, social, and emotional reasons, including
a desire for control, personal insecurities, and judgment based on social or cultural beliefs. This behavior often stems from a place of fear, jealousy, or a genuine (if misguided) belief that they know what's best for others

@katie1859   I don't see the high prices. What could you be wanting.  To pay?  I don't understand the over inflated prices. Unless you are comparing with Walmart or discount stores. Or buying from overseas.  QVC are about the same as anywhere, and even a bit less than some   I don't buy clothes here, but I see prices, and seems like everywhere else. Unless you hit a big sale

Buy your food from Williams Sonoma and holiday decorations from Pottery Barn.

Not that any of us needs to "justify" our shopping,  but I scored some really nice deals during yesterday's Free Shipping.

All on clearance.  Especially some nice Cella storage boxes which were priced lower than when I last bought them!

That's why I still order from QVC.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes It all depends on how much money you have, and most importantly how you spend it.  If you buy an expensive item, you love it, it gives you good value, it's possibly less money than buying and buying and buying from QVC.

Are you buying for the thrill of buying, or are you looking for quality items, items you know will give you lasting service?  Or do you want something cheap, but then you get to buy another one, or throw that one away. Describes my mom and shoes. . . Woman Happy

"Grievance" is currently at a high percentage.   61% of Americans are "ticked off".

I think it does live up to "convenience" and that is why so many people still love it.  It may not always have the cheapest prices but the fact that you can come here any time and look up a vast variety of things and have it delivered to your door is still pretty great, I think.  I know many have said that delivery has often been less then satisfactory but generally speaking I haven't really had any issues with that.  I still look for bargains here - either waiting for clearance or as is prices.  I don't shop solely here but I integrate this place with all my other shopping places.

I do feel that here and other on-line shopping companies are very important to people who can't get out to shop for whatever reason or just don't like to go to b&m stores.
