I wanted to buy the new Denim and Co. Denim dress at 11:49pm. I couldn't decide whether to buy the petite or regular. I looked on the sizing page, but didn't see a length measurement. They didn't have models who they said was wearing petite or regular. They yack about everything else, but never about sizing! I think I'm going to go back to in store shopping,,,,,I'm tired of spending shipping and returns if something doesn't fit!
I bought some of those expensive bras, paid $20+ for shipping, and had to return all of them. Got caught up in the hype!!,

I think we all have been saying that same thing. Sad, really. The original purpose of tv shopping was to get a live view and presentation of the product. That has totally gone up in flames

@Flady1. You need to check the actual garment measurements where they show every measurement you could want. You click at the end of the text describing the garment.

It's the same way in B&M stores. I carry a tape measure in my purse, and I am as many as THREE different tag sizes.

If you wear petite sizes, you already know it. Petites are for those 5'3" and under with a petite frame...not necessarly shorter people.
It is not just the length that is shorter. The shoulders are narrower, the distance between the shoulder and waist is shorter. Sleeves are shorter.
The whole garment is adjusted for a petite body type..
You can check each garment on QVC that will show the exact measurements. There is no way a host would have the time to go over all of that.

They have limited time to present the item; which is why they provivde measurermets for each garment and sizing info online.

I agree with not giving all the information, especially for a swimsuit which needs to fit very well. The hosts tend to leave out information that the customers want.
Last night, I was watching a presentation for a Lug weekender bag. The vendor was going over the details of each part of the bag when the host cut her off to review all of the colors. The vendor couldn't finish describing the bag. I wanted to see all of it!
The irony is, the hosts keep telling us to go to the Q website to look up details, but I'd rather do that to look at colors. Many times the pictures on the website don't show enough details, but I can easily figure out colors.

While they have limited time, they are too busy telling personal stories or acting like preteens to give all the pertinent information.

I know just what you mean. Some hosts are a lot better about this. However, some just say, "We have it in regular and petite" without giving the measurements.
Another thing I notice is when a very petite host is wearing pants or a dress in the regular length, it's going to be way too short for me.😔

The only host I know of that talks a little about the sizing is Mary Beth. She will at least say whether in her opinion she would wear her size or go up or down a size. My wish/gripe is that I wish they would state what size the sample they are using to present is. Sometimes I can tell what size is on the tag of the garmet but not always. If I can see what size it is I can judge what size would be better for me. Sometimes I wear two different sizes depending on the material and the cut.
