When a thread is deleted, please leave at least the title

I recently posted a thread about a new show that was deleted without an reference to said show remaining.  Please know I more than respect that QVC allows us to post on a variety of topics but I guess what I am asking is that if you delete a thread please (fully within your rights) just leave the title so those of us that were interested know it has been removed.

mtc    I support your thought on at least leaving the title up. I started one thanking 151949   for her sheet suggestion. I had to leave and when I came back it was gone I don't even know what happened. I didn't say anything against the rules on here either.

I disagree. I recently started a thread which I asked the Mods to delete for a very good reason. And I think showing the title of a deleted thread would just "inspire" a new discussion of the subject!

While I understand what the OP is saying, I don't think it's wise to do this at least some of the time - maybe half the time, to be honest.

For every innocent thread that "goes bad" there are two that have an offensive word in the title, are calling someone out by name, hurtfully bashing a host, challenging the mods or having a very obvious political title, etc.

It gets tricky (and you know people will complain) when you delete some titles but not others.
