Years ago, probably in the early 70's, Presto made a small electric skillet that was about the size of a standard electric skillet cut in half. It was called a Wee Fry Skillet. It was the perfect size for one or two people. I gave one for Christmas to my grandmother and two older aunts. They loved it and told all their friends. It is ideal for college students, senior citizens, or singles of any age.

A few years ago I contacted Presto and requested they return it to production. That went nowhere. QVC has the audience that would appreciate this size and the clout to get it made. A few are on Ebay if you want to see one. Seems like a perfect product for David's show.

The skillet I want is rectangular and looks like a standard size square electric skillet cut in half. It is the perfect size for 3 slices of bacon or a couple of eggs. What makes it great is the rectangular shape and the glass lid.

Check out  Amazon for the. Aroma Housewares ASP - 137 3 Qt. Grillet.  It is just the right size , it heats up fast and is easy clean up. I love mine.

I remember those.

Dash seems to have miniaturize several small kitchen appliances. I wonder they would have something similar.

Thank you for finding the one that showed the measurements. That looks like the ones we had. I guess I will just have to buy a used one. I really love the rectangular shape  It is so much more versatile than a round skillet. I still think it would sell to a lot of people.

@On It. You're welcome!  I've never seen that brand or size before.  I think you're right though that it's a great size and shape.  Good suggestion for QVC!

@On It  I have an original that my mother had and put away for years in a cupboard.   I got it when she died about 10 years ago as a part of her kitchen items I received.  I use it often and totally agree with you that it is perfect for 2 people.  I felt fortunate to get that item in my distribution and it seems that I was the only one that wanted it.  It is in perfect condition.
