Could you put the date  the post was started next to the name of the Person who started the post? This would be nice to have especially when people dig up a post from four years ago......

I don't understand your request. the date is on every post. Look beneath the thread title to see when it was started.

Ex: Yours is 3-10-2016, 8:00 PM

See it?

Re: Webmaster: please read this

I agree with the OP, I would like to see the date the thread was started, without having to open the thread. If it has been dug up from several years ago, I really am not interested in re-hashing something that old. Just start a new thread, if the subject is still pertinent.

I really am amazed at the nerve of some people ... the same people have nothing but complaints about QVC and everything from their prices, boring products offered, boring programs, hosts makeup, their hair, their clothing, the way they talk, the things they say, the way the do their job, their interaction with the vendors, the way the boards are run ... and now they are asking to have posts set up in a specific way that is convenient to them.  You are kidding me.

@Karnerblue  Well stated!   I often wonder why some of these posters even watch QVC or come over to this board since QVC seems to have no redeeming qualities to them.  Why not spend their time pursuing something else then?

Re: Webmaster: please read this

Good morning to you @SunValley ~  No, you didn’t misinterpret the OP, I did. What happened was that I posted some old links in a thread yesterday that were on a thread started by the OP.  I guess that was on my mind and I mistakenly thought those were the old posts what she was referring to. Now I see I was wrong and I understand what she is asking for which is to have the start date above, or below, the name of the author. Thank you for taking the time to write back and explain it so kindly and patiently. My apologies for the confusion!

Thank you @SusieQ_2 for replying, and we are reading from the same page now. Lol. I wish you a pleasant Friday. (I wonder if the interchangeable way post and thread are used may be part of why this request for the thread start date has led to some confusion?)

Pearley and Karnerblue, the bottom line here is that you're not understanding what the OP and I are asking for, and I don't feel like explaining it again.

@Big Sister  I understand exactly what you are asking for.   And my post wasn't addressing you.  In fact, I had someone else intirely in mind when I wrote my post. I was, however, agree with @Karnerblue 's point.  In fact I had more than one person in mind when I posted what I did.  It isn't just about you.

Hi @SusieQ_2 I am not sure if I have misinterpreted the OP but I thought she was asking for the start date of the thread to appear on the Subject page like it used to display in the old forum. I have opened several threads that seemed to make no sense until I went to the first page of the thread and found it to be several years old. I don't know anything about a link discussion. Maybe it's my head cold that has made my thinking fuzzy and I have misunderstood or missed something? It's been known to happen. Lol

This is what I thought I was agreeing to: If the date appeared on the Subject page one could easily keeping scrolling through all the threads and skip the old ones that get dug up occasionally. I am a lazy scroller and hate the extra step of opening the thread to find out when it started.

@SunValley @SeaMaiden and @Big Sister, I wish they would go back to the old Subject Page general format which QVC had used prior to switching over to the new forum format.

I had always appreciated knowing the date of the initial post for each thread... before I open that thread. -- It was very convenient and, as other have mentioned, it saves me from taking the time to open really old threads that have been bumped up.

It's frustrating to take the time to help someone out with information... only to later realize that they had asked the question 2 years ago.
