Webmaster: please read this

[ Edited ]

Could you put the date  the post was started next to the name of the Person who started the post on the front page to be seen BEFORE you open the post?  This would be nice to have especially when people dig up a post from four years ago......

The date of each post, including the first post, is under the thread title that is in each post's box.  I find that to be a convenient place to find the date of the post.

@SeaMaiden  I have asked for this over the months and for some reason it is not done.

To see the date the OP started the thread you have to click on and open the thread.  I want to bypass that "click on" step.

@Big Sister  Exactly! I want to know when the post was made before I open it.

Exactly. I've never seen a post without a date. There's only so much room for information on the list of threads and I'd much prefer to know when the last post was made than the first.

I really am amazed at the nerve of some people ... the same people have nothing but complaints about QVC and everything from their prices, boring products offered, boring programs, hosts makeup, their hair, their clothing, the way they talk, the things they say, the way the do their job, their interaction with the vendors, the way the boards are run ... and now they are asking to have posts set up in a specific way that is convenient to them.  You are kidding me.

I agree with @SeaMaiden for the same reason. Thanks for any consideration of this request.

The same reason being that it would be nice to have especially when people dig up a post from four years ago that the OP mentioned? That makes no sense because if a person "digs up" an old post by supplying a link, the date is already there. I don't see how it could be any easier than it already is.

ETA ~ If it's an old post being brought up by a link, the link won't lead to a page of threads anyway. It will bring up the post itself and the date is on it.

Re: Webmaster: please read this

Hi @SusieQ_2 I am not sure if I have misinterpreted the OP but I thought she was asking for the start date of the thread to appear on the Subject page like it used to display in the old forum. I have opened several threads that seemed to make no sense until I went to the first page of the thread and found it to be several years old. I don't know anything about a link discussion. Maybe it's my head cold that has made my thinking fuzzy and I have misunderstood or missed something? It's been known to happen. Lol

This is what I thought I was agreeing to: If the date appeared on the Subject page one could easily keeping scrolling through all the threads and skip the old ones that get dug up occasionally. I am a lazy scroller and hate the extra step of opening the thread to find out when it started.
