Please have designers use snaps instead of zippers on coats, especially puffer. I had to return two coats because of zippers catching fabric and getting stuck. Snaps are a far better choice and you'd probably have less returns

Every onw I have ever had did have both snaps and double zippers and I like having both!

For some coats that's fine but with buttons or snaps it leaves gaps for air and it it's raining or windy and cold it will go right through there.  Also they don't sew buttons on like they used to.  I find I have lost more buttons in the last few years than I ever did on my older clothing.

Me too, and it's very rare to find anymore.

My puffer coat has a zipper and snaps. I just use the snaps, though, because I am zipper challenged.

Snaps often pull out, ruining the garment as they're not repairable.

If I do have a coat with snaps...I never use them.

They are a big pain to fasten!

100% zippers for me!  And YES!  Please!  Two WAY!

How about offer some snaps for people that like them, which they do, TONS!  I think most of my coats have snaps and zippers. 

I would never buy a coat or jacket with just snaps.  Snaps are not reliable enough.  If they work, they can be hard to secure on and off, and they fail a lot.  Like another poster, I prefer buttons.  They fail less and give flexibility.  Zippers feel so confining, but when it is really cold, I am glad to have them.
