Have to agree - she rarely wears clothing featured on QVC - the assortment of dramatic dresses/shoes/earrings we see are most certainly not from there!.....except for the OBI belt that she tried to wear with everything whether it worked or not.

I have never felt she is really there to talk to the viewer/shopper. She spends far too little time describing the clothing in any useful way and it takes her ages to get to the colors because she is busy trying on the color she likes and admiring herself....really seems to feel the set is her personal stage. Stopped watching any show she hosts altogether.

You nailed it and it must be working or this tactic would have stopped years ago. This is one of the many reasons I no longer watch QVC live.

Does anyone remember Patti Riley? After QVC "declined to renew her contract" (i.e. fired her) she went to Hollywood and thought that at the age of 40 and at least one face-life she was going to be a BIG star. I don't know what happened to her but I don't think anyone has seen hide nor hair of her.

I always thought Lisa Robertson was a smart cookie; she didn't take herself too seriously and got out while the getttin' was good.

@FuzzyFace I never saw Patti Riley on QVC (before my time), but I do follow It Cosmetices because I really like Jamie Kern Lima's success story and business vision. Jamie hired Patti to be one of her educators and rep trainers, over a year ago. Patti travels to lots of their retail events, as well as QVC UK. She posts on Instagram a lot.
