Actually I purchased Lenox ornaments last year that are quite lovely. Those puzzle boxes are also well done; I bought two as gifts a couple of years ago.  And those Kringle Express bages are a life saver. (If you have dexterity issues, or just hate wrapping, these are awesome) Not everything is "junk."

 

As to the holiday programming, come on, it's retail. Before the age of streaming, Time-Life started its ads for its holiday cd's (or tapes!) in September. The Sears Wish Book would show up before we were planning Halloween costumes.  Lechmere (local, long gone department store) would have been setting up their trees this week, if they hadn't already.

it amazes me what people get upset over!! If you don't like what's showing on QVC, or any channel, for that matter, change it!
